Id can safely say you won’t have any Aul committee member leaving the northside next Sunday to go watch a game I know ye give out a lot on here about Aul ps I just tells the truth but this is complete madness another thing that’s being brought to my attention the Mossy and Henry Healy started in sept/oct 8 teams in both cups and the final not being played till end of April and middle of May that’s practically 8 months to play 3 games fellas can say it’s down to getting turners cross but 8 months for god sake them cups could be played on any decent Senior pitch like cup games last years and get um out of the way.

I tell ya Kevin I speak so much sense maybe I’ll run for Aul job recently I sat in a pub up Northside the topsters I had Grattan men and friends one side of me Castleview men the other side and they got into conversation about footie and all I heard was anyone know who Harsh ref is he seems to know everyone business and I just sat there sipping on me bottle of Cider eating me Nobby’s nuts taking in all the info so I reckon I’m the man to fix Aul now getting back to tonight’s game I wonder will City wanderers keeps this run going.

Can anyone explain how Grattan didnt get home advantage after the farce last week?

Harsh ref
08/03/2024, 8:32 AM
Even Aul would find it hard to explain it haha knocka went out to strand few weeks back ref called it pitch not lined. And member of Aul told um straight up stop complaining nothing can be done haha

The simple answer to this is because its the AUL Committee. Yet people on here think its a great idea for them to hand over tens of thousands for an astro they won't even own . Give me a break

But was there an issue with the jerseys in the Grattan match? who’s responsibility is it to change jerseys? That rule changes every few years it should be the home team end of, who travels with a spare set of jerseys.

Fish, I don’t think money will be handed over that easily and they’ll get back the majority of what they put into it. Come on be positive for once it’s a great initiative for the Northside.

Think Aul opened can worms now cause if teams have issues with gear or lining of pitch going forward Aul can not award games now well let’s say they shouldn’t cause I actually don’t know what they’ll come up with next haha

Glenthorn battled away, knocka could have had a few before half time but didn’t take chances, you could see the fitness catching them especially second half knocka totally took control last 20

Big win for Los Zarcos in Div 2 today. Have to fancy them to go on and win it now. In great form after beating Springfield and winning team of the month too.

Great win for Richmond. Strand B put up a decent showing against WGH too by the looks of it.

In fairness div 2 looks like an open league with a lot of evenly matched teams.
Based on springfield result and yesterday's result los zarcos the favourites in fairness to them

Grattan win away again,,,,,,statement win.

Drew the 1st game , never taken a step back since in the league .

The View lads seemed to hVe silenced the pretenders.

1st an 2nd can go anyway

Lots to play for all round an , they say the Aul is on its last legs.

The grass is not always greener

I hibk there's a few very good sides in AUL. But, AUL is in it's end era or coming in to it. Be that 5, 10 or 15 years. All teams at end should split the pot haha.

Any word on UCC appeal?

Business end, cup final season will be great.

Were Castleview the only team to beat Grattan this season? They’re doing very well at the moment could be a successful year for the Northside.

Infairness ref there has been better sides and younger and fitter sides that could never do the treble so no way will grattan go near that out of curiosity was it ever even achieved in the cork aul

You should change your name to foot.ie Mr knowledge 100% tough to do but fitter and younger team will catch um i think i do think they will pip the league but away to village is no easy place to go and for aoh we seen a few shocks so far so another shock isnt far away when it comes to aoh

Temple back in the 90s won the league, aoh an mossie in one season. Grattan have a few older lads ya but it's not dad's army. The majority of the team are young enough. If I'm correct they havnt been beaten by anyone in anything over 90 mins this season. They lost the MJC on spotters, that Munster champions cup thing again on spotters and the Fai , in extra time .

Village is always a tough game for Grattan but then again every game is a tough game for them.
