Glens in a spot of financial bother, again. They could well be looking to off-load some players come January.

Vinny and SK have been doing a bit of work together at Malahide of late apparently. Well, Kenny was doing a bit of coaching there anyway.

So the rumours go but nothings been confirmed and we should take it with a pinch of salt until there is official confirmation as last time he was on the way down from Derry to sign for us and pulled the deal at the last minute 3 years ago.

Gary Rogers has just re-signed for Sligo Rovers for next season following on from Alan Keane doing so yesterday. Great news for us. Brilliant to have such solid members of the squad committing again. Hopefully a few more to be announced soon.

That really throws a spanner into the works for Dundalk aswell.
There was plenty going around saying that Stephen Kenny is all but confirmed for the Dundalk job, now with Limerick having a vacant managers job he could be tempted there if Limerick are interested. There is a couple of people on Twitter saying that this could happen.
But as we all know don't believe anything in this league until it is confirmed.

All aboard the Sean Connor bandwagon rolling into Limerick. He'll survive though, after all he's from West Belfast, which he has stated on numerous occasions

Surprised by that to be honest. Think he had a year left to go on his contract but it was mentioned during the summer it would cost nothing to get rid of him.
I suppose he is walking away at a good time for himself. He promised to get us up in a 4 year plan so he can walk away now saying he did his job.

LIMERICK FC have this Thursday afternoon parted ways with manager Pat Scully.
Confirmation of the shock move came following a meeting of the board of the senior soccer club this morning.
However, details of the surprise move remain unclear. Pat Scully confirmed to Leader Sport that he has parted ways with the club, but refused to comment further.
The development comes just weeks after Scully guided the Super Blues back into the top flight of the Airtricty League.
Two weeks ago, assistant manager Mark Dempsey also parted company with the club.
Scully was appointed Limerick FC manager in March 2009 and in September 2011 (http://www.limerickleader.ie/sport/soccer/limerick-fc-sack-manager-pat-scully-1-4489482#) his contract was extended by two years.
Last month, Scully’s Limerick FC were crowned First Division champions.
Earlier this weeks, Limerick’s Rory Gaffeny was named as Player of the Year at the PFAI awards.
Limerick FC also dominated the division’s 2012 Team of the Year, with five representatives - captain Pat Purcell, Shane Tracy, Joe Gamble (http://www.limerickleader.ie/sport/soccer/limerick-fc-sack-manager-pat-scully-1-4489482#), Stephen Bradley, and Rory Gaffney.
The departure of Scully and Dempsey comes as speculation continues regarding Limerick’s home ground for the 2013 season.
It is understood that the club are in discussions with Thomond Park as Jackman Park required much investment to meet licensing requirements for the Premier Division.
Limerick are to return to the Markets Field, but that now appears unlikely to happen in time for the start of the new season next spring.

We need Roddy back in the League, if only for his post-match interviews/sing-alongs on MNS.

I heard a few weeks back that Scully was going to go and Declan Farmer was going to take over, don't see the sense in that and doubt it will happen but seeing as it is the rumour thread said I'd post it.
