Only 7 thanks for the confidence booster.
Well there are a couple of players to come into the team although ye are still short a couple over the wedding the weekend, why wasnt the match called off? Ye will be without Skinner and 2 or 3 others for it but Ming and Craig Slattery have come back from Carew Park so that should give ye some kind of back 4. I may go over and watch it if I am not too sick....:p

think there was an incident with southend and the polish team recently aswell.no room for it in junior soccer, the book should be thrown at them

When Pallas played Mungret the previous week there was nearly a couple of ambulances called ,some of the challenges put in by Pallas players were a disgrace .

That's very true a few of the pallas player's challenges could have nearly ended some of our boys' careers, totally wreckless altogether........

Pallas were a disgrace against mungret, when mungret put the 5th goal passed them, they started throwing in leg-breakers challenges. The ref should have taken more control of the game and issued yellow and red cards which were deserved but he didn't. I'm not surprised the Pallas players acted the way they did against Charleville. Pallas players just went crazy and all because they are not up to other teams standards!!

Were Pallas getting hammered again when all this kicked off against Charleville? I have seen them play some league games and they looked a decent side, while physical as well. While I expected Mungret to beat them I didn't expect them to hammer them in the manner they did.

No one has any problem with playing a physical team but some of the challenges Pallas were putting in against Mungret were nothing short of a disgrace. Mungret lost 2 players through injury in the first half and one of these players was unable to play last Sunday as a result. There's such a thing as losing with grace aswell. On the day they were out played and this is no excuse for their actions. The LDMC should throw the book at them if what's being said on here is true regarding their game against Charleville.

Is that the 3rd or 4th time this fixture has been called off? With both teams early favourites for promotion it would have been be the match to go to this weekend.

I think its the second time it has been cancelled, the first time it was an evening fixture but it was a mistake by the ldmc as all evening fixtures were over. This weekend one of the players is getting married. i don't think anyone can really be classed as favourites for the league, even though shannon and mungret have won all their league games so far. In 1a i think a team at the lower end of the table can beat teams at the top end if they are on form on the day. It would have been an interesting game though.

jesus that's crazy. any more news on disciplinary action against pallas? they give limerick soccer a bad name with that type of bullshi*. nobody wants to see players getting injured by deliberate tackles. bloody disgrace if you ask me. if one of the charleville players was kicked in the head pallas should be thrown out of the league and cup

We were missing 4 starters, but in fairness we didnt perform either.
We played well for the first 20mins and went 1up (prob should have 4 up) but went in 1-1 at HT (when they scored through a peno), then we had a player sent off in the last 10mins, and they went on to get the winner (from a corner) in injury time.

glad he's ok anyway. can't believe the manager was attacked as well. i remember playing against pallas around 5 years ago and they had 3 players sent off and we beat them 1-0. they were threatening the ref after the game and his car was vandalised. so it's obviously an ongoing thing with them. can't be allowed to get away with it
