About 2000 at Drogs-Bray. The West Stand was packed, as was the seated area.

506. Most depressing game I've ever been to at Belfield... :(
did you not enjoy watching cork city, some of the moves and skill of our players was a joy to watch ;)

Yeah small home & away crowd - I take it that's why it was depressing? ;)
Yeah, that must be it...can't think of any other reason! ;)
Actually wasn't a bad home crowd - over 400, given the numbers youz say you brought (70-100). Add in summer, people being away, June/July crowds always the lowest, etc., it's better than, say, a few years ago when the game regularly had 250 at it.

Most of our players evidently thought so too! :)

The Star mentioned 1120 at Longford-Rovers and 350 at Cobh-Dublin City. I'm not putting them in (as we all know about the Star's accuracy...), but 1120 is an unusual figure - would this be official?

Athlone v. Kildare and Athlone v. Kilkenny - both 200-ish.

Wouldn't have thought so but it wouldn't be too far off, my guesstimate was 1100-1200. So maybe 1150!

I have the offical attendences for Shels last two league games from Fintan as always
Derry was 1145
Longford 812
I knew Longford was bad but that's pathetic, shows how fickle some people can be I suppose, but with the shyte football we're playing a drop in crowds was always on the cards really.

Your forgetting the U2 concert that was on the same night as the Longford game.
Myself and 3 others ere at that and we would have otherwise been in Tolka. Apart from the people going to U2 there was many more put off by the traffic around the area which was very bad.
Still brutal but there are some reasons...

1,884 official attendence at St. Pat's v Shels.
Of which - being charitable - 284 were Shels fans. Worst Dublin derby crowd I can remember in Richmond - ever.

Was quoted on RTE 1 radio as came from the club. Sounds right be me. 5000 too generous.
Could be pushing for a full house for Rovers in 2 weeks time.

A round figure like 4,500 is unlikely to be official either.
I can't wait for the rovers game. I'll probably get 1 or 2 non-regulars to come with me. Something close to a full house could be on the cards.

Brian Lennox's programme notes last night gave an attendance of 2376 for the (league) game against Longford. I'd say there was 4-4,500 there last night- disappointing

I reckon about 4200.
Expected a lot more but when we stopped in Urlingford on the way down, there was a lot of people wearing Cork City jersies heading the opposite direction to Oxegen.

Ha! And our guesstimate here is 4,000. Seems City fans have little scope of measuring their attendences.

4,000?! I would have said about 3,000 myself, because the crowd was very spread out, it looked fuller than it was.

I sent CCFC an e-mail a while back when they said they were publishing attendences. I asked them if it were possible to get figures from past games this season as a group of us eL supporters were compiling attendence figures and they never replied at all. With all due respect I think your estimates on here are way off, by well over 1,000 sometimes.
pity that, I'll have a word and see if anyone is willing to disclose them sooner.
dreadful conditions ****ed rain the whole night and its scalding outside now typical.Best performance of the season keep playing like this and anything is possible. All four forwards played brilliantly and 2 scored.Eric made a huge difference as he bossed the limerick back 4 throughout the game.
About 80/100 there from limerick nice club great fans i hope they get back to winning ways soon.

Not only that Éanna but if you could get your hands on the attendences from the first few months of the season before Lennox started giving the official ones.

That's right, and I always put in the lowest Cork figure... Will put the 5000 in for Bohs for now, but will expect it to come down by at least 20%.
Woeful crowd in Waterford for the UCD game - 350 tops. Counted 150 around the ground, and the stand (holds 700 or so?) was probably less than one-third full. Tall ships and all that, but we had a bigger crowd in Belfield! :)
Worst Dublin derby crowd I can remember in Richmond - ever.
Really?! :) :o
I'd say City v Bohs was closer to 4,000 to be honest lads

No the stand holds 1250 so there was more that that there.I thought about 700 but definitely at least 600 to watch a terrible 0-0 draw.Very poor crowd all the same. Were you one of the 5 UCD fans with the drum in block A?

Is Block A smaller than the rest? There are 160 seats in Block A (16 rows of 10), and five blocks overall. Two of the blocks have the tunnel eating significantly into them. My assumption then was 5 x 160 = 800, less 100 or so for the player tunnel = 700. There were ten people in Block A, and about 50 in Block B; granted, it did get fuller as you moved towards Block E
Were you one of the 5 UCD fans with the drum in block A?
Yep (though there weer another 20 or so fans around the ground)! Wish I wasn't though... What a shocking match! :(
Block A is much smaller than the rest as its a lot narrower.Theres probably twice as many seats in the other blocks apart from the middle one.It was an awful game all right.

Would have guessed at the stand being maybe 1/4 to 1/3 full with 150 around the ground.

350 is mentioned on the Waterford forum as well (stand 1/4 full), though only with 50 people around the ground. Will up it to 400, but it certainly wasn't much more than that.
