The crowd at Monaghan is a disaster for them. Other figures very dissappointing as well, if some clubs even got family and friends of player to attend they would improve on their figures.
... and it would improve them from being terrible, to still being terrible.

....... A lot of Bohs fans don`t travel to Oriel because of the lock in for twenty mins after the game and the crap view of the left hand quadrant of the pitch from that "vantage point" I generally get a home ticket and sit in the stand, unfortunately wasn`t there last night though.
Could never understand this one because i would be sure that this has more to do with the directions of AGS rather than some direction from somebody @ DundalkFC/Oriel Park.
Funnily enough i would say that the streets outside OP were empty last night aprox two mins after the end of the match so i cant see why Bohs fans would have been kept back,if they were?
Btw,we also get kept behind when we go to Dalyer,Shels (Always 20 mins in Tolka??),Shams,Drogs(usualy after 20mins too and then they let us walk over the pitch too ??)

Would attendances improve if it was a tenner in rather than 15 euros? Think a tenner is a fair price these days.

It's a tenner into the ground for all our matches this season and the attendances are about to go through the floor i would say. Off course that has more too do with our results/style of play/board/GM/liars/trust/no trust/the burren and the cliffs of Moher/the tulla and the Kilfenora.ohh Liss- doon - varna.......Fcuk sorry, got carried away ;D

not great to be honest. only had about 100ish last night though I think theres exams starting on Monday so people giving it a miss because of that - oh and the fact that we have been rubbish
I'd hope we'd have 300 at least for Pats, especially if we beat Dundalk
It's still better than not seeing the game
Cork fans, how has your travelling support been so far this season? Our next home game is again Cork, would like to see a big away crowd up for it.
As El-pietro said, about 100 in Tolka, about 50 in Derry (long trip), Maybe 300 in UCD (First game). My guess for cork city away support vs Pats would be about 200, ok but not huge. still bigger than Mons home support.

It's a bloody joke in Tolka. Everyone gets bunched up at the first gate, then on down to wait outside ****y Burdocks. Somebody will get hurt.

There wasn't even 100 at it, but I think mervue include the season tickets sales numbers in all of there home attendances when announcing figures to the public.

I would be very surprised if Mervue United have 110-120 non-attending season ticket holders.

This.
Not a chance they have that many season ticket holders. It honestly seems that they double every attendance.

The only way I can see that is if they sell tickets at reduced prices to the parents of kids playing underage as a way of raising funds and include them too.

All coaches, managers, back room staff etc.. HAD to buy one according to some of them. Some of them then in turn have bought season tickets for the kids. This would account for a large portion of sales. Amazingly these members of the club are the very ones not even bothering showing up at the matches.

We would have had an average crowd approaching 1,700 last season if we included non attending season ticket holders .Never heard you could do this and it totaly skews credibility of LOI attendance figures if clubs do.
Like it or not, it is a fairly standard practice. i think I've said earlier in this thread, that it is the standard in UK football, and in other sports in Ireland.

Pats cetrainly don't do it. Can't speak for all other clubs.
arguing over whether a crowd is 100 or 200 is completely missing the point too
Not really saying it's right, just that it's not totally off the wall.

Official attendance at Cork City vs Dundalk is 2815. Heavy rain just before kickoff probably didn't help it, not bad though.

Had the potential to really push on and get big crowds for the first time in years but the results but mainly the performances against Longford and Waterford have caused major damage.

You were obviously in the green tent stand and couldn`t see how poor the crowd was in that stand. There looked to be no more than 300- 400 Bray fans there and maybe 50 behind the goals. 500 or so Bohs fans sounds about right
