Taking a guess on the Shels v Bohs crowd somewhere between 2,200 and 2,500 is what I would think. Very bad turnout.
Thought there was a bigger Bohs crowd there than usual, but fewer from Shels.

Still can't see how you could call 2,400 a terrible crowd where that was probably second best attendance of the weekend where there the weather was not the best will at least where I was anyway. Shels don't get big crowds at all anyway.
You can compare it to previous seasons - 3321 last year; 4000 and 4500 in 2004. You could compare it to other Dublin derbies - 3492 and 2423 for Bohs-Shels in 2004, 5140 and 3247 for Bohs-Rovers in 2004 and other figures. It is a low crowd for that match.

And Sligo v Drogs was a poor looking crowd ( I thought Sligo got Corkesque crowds!!) - not much over 1,000 I would say
Sligo fans have 1800 here for that game...?

that was me, when i thought about it after i knew that was way too much, i meant to change it but forgot. i'd say a disappointing 1350 is fair

Given the seating was packed to capacity the crowd was well over 2,500. I would say approx 3,250

But i thought one of the UCD lads Counted 150 at the game that not far of 100% of an Error in the figures.
Brutal Attendance Whatever way you look at it Shame this type of games Goes on in our Top Division
I was looking at the photos of the stand Poor Student took during the second half, and I'm not so confident in that 150 figure any more.

No. Don't you understand the difference between thinking that a source is generally unreliable and wrong in a specific instance?
The only positions I've stated on the attendance have been that:
Pineapple Stu counted ~150
Having reviewed the photos, I think that was well high.

I did a count and got 151. But that would include club officials, players, others who didn't pay (I only got in at half-time), etc and who probably wouldn't be in an official count. (Where'd that official figure come from, anyway?) I was counting from the Des Kelly stand though, so I wouldn't be surprised if I counted a gray space as a person wearing a gray jumper or something. But it was fairly low alright. Had a conversation with someone in the Des Kelly from Block G in the Jodi at one stage. (I say conversation...it actually went "Rogers you w@nker!" "Shut the f*ck up, there's kids present!"...and the person replying was only about 14...)
Incidentally, "official" figures are often nonsense in this league. But they're often stupidly high, not low.

Approximately 450-500 at Bray and that's being generous.
I counted 190 in the seats, 87 at the Bray Bowl end - 277.
Allowing for 180-230 standing along the other side of the ground, buying a cup of tea, at the toilet, etc. is probably an overestimate.

According to rte 800 at the longford game last night according to others nearly 1000. Cant say from my own view as I aint there to see no more.

I would have said around 500. If you put everyone into the stand no chance of even being half full.

Papers today said 1000 at Limerick-Drogheda, 800 at Longford-Cork and I think 800 at Waterford-Douglas Hall.
130 at Kilkenny-UCD

WLR FM gave 800 as the paying attendance provided to them by the Club, which doesnt include concessionaries and they were plenty of them.
I'll stand by my initial guestimate of just over 1000.

I thought it was about that alright. Though I heard malahide were expecting closer to 2,000. Poor away support I felt.
Terrible attendance at Shels V Bangor - 600-800. Bangor had an OK crowd but it wasn't a bad away travelling support for a Saturday night! ;) :D :o
Roughly between 700-800 at the Bray Vs Kildare cup game.

at Mels less than 400 and the smallest ever for an FAI Cup tie involving these two teams.Last cup tie there about 5 yrs ago there were over 2500 at it.

Was told that 330 adults paid in. Add students, kids and passes - gufct your estimate may be slightly low, but not by much.

Where is it all going wrong ???? The standard of football and facilities have improved , there wasno direct competition from sky and yet the overall attendances seem to be at an all time low for the weekend , not looking at individual matches but overall appears to be pathetic.

Early cup games often have ****e attendances.
Maybe 500-600 at Dundalk v Cobh. Probably the lowest attendance ever at an FAI Cup game in Oriel.
between 200-250 at the Kildare Vs Bray cup reply last night.

I'm almost scared to ask - any figures for DCFC vs. MUFC:confused: Saw the TV3 pictures, I'm guessing there wasn't a huge crowd of people who decided to go to the Connaught St. stand...

Was trying to count the crowd from the TV3 pictures, certainly was nowhere near 3 figures. looked like 20 or 30 people there.
For Dublin City games in Dalymount do Burdocks bother opening?

Less than last mondays farce probably. Those 2 clubs shouldnt be in the league. No fans? Go back to junior ball. Monaghan brought 4 fans to Galway ffs:eek:

Wasn't going to post unless someone asked. Someone counted 98 people in the ground just before kick-off, I'd say about 20 or 30 came in after that, so 120-130. Don't know if the 98 included the 4 garda.

how many of that 98 were squad players and officials, family and friends, and maybe a journalist or two?
surely no more than half that crowd could ahve ben supporters? looked like 60 people at it,and i got a good look on tv3.between two/three pieces of footage it showed the entire "crowd"
as for Rovers v castlebar id say 180 Hoops in a crowd of c.1000
