I don't know what the capacity is, but the shed housing the Drogheda supporters was pretty much packed...and there were about 40 people from Bray at the game. Hopefully, you can work it out from there.
Bray v Longford is also hard to judge, as many fans walked out in disgust over the 90 minutes...there were about 100 there at the full-time whistle. I'd go for 600 or so, at it's "peak".

Stu is that Athlone v Galway back in July?
If so about 250 there with maybe 60-70 galway fans.

Just looking - I've no idea what game it is. I've figures for every Athlone game anyway, so it's not the home game against Galway. I've taken it out now.
Edit - think I meant Cobh v Galway

The home terrace certainly wasn't packed mate! I know it can look that way sometimes. Crowd was about 1,400 I'd say.

About 300 at this game i would say with just over 50 from Dundalk
Bad crowd from cobh i would say considering had they won they would ve only been 2 points behind ourselves.
1st Division looks like going to the wire.
UP THE TOWN
I should be able to get the gate reciepts
Won't somebody notice and ask for them back? Still, if you can get away with it fair play.

About 3000 at the Brandywell for Derry-UCD last night. Certainly more full than the first game of the season, which was 2200-ish I think.

Have to agree with the above, about 300 at the game, poor crowd considering, couple of factors hit the figure, Saturday afternoon kick off is V.bad (people at work, shopping etc.). Terrible weather conditions and L'pool/Bolton on TV.
As regards missing crowds for pineapple stu's figures
Cobh R v Galway 300
Cobh v Athlone (august) 350

We're now entering the interesting part of the season. The part where those in contention for titles, Europe/Setanta places, relegation or promotion should start seeing an uplift in crowds as the competition hots up.
This year uniquely there are still 3 sides in with a shout for the title in both the Premier and the First Division at this stage.
However, also uniquely this year - thanks to the World Cup break and the general increase in Euro success of our teams - we have a bigger than normal fixture back-log. This will, I believe, work against attendances, as more games will be on irregular mid-week nights, in worse weather than they would otherwise have been, and there will be more of them full-stop over the next 6 weeks. This highlights the inherent danger in comparing attednances year-on-year in a league where even a relatively small change in real numbers attending can have a big impact on the averages.
I expect to see the averages for clubs like Rovers, Galways, Dundalk, Derry, Drogheda, Shels and possibly Cork to increase over the next 6 weeks. Remember - last year's figures all contain the boosted end-of-season figures that thsi year's stats have yet to have yet.
That said - I'm surprised that the average for Derry this year is allegedly down on last year to-date (though I expect that gap to close over the coming weeks).

I heard that the official attendance was 3,200.
Couldnt even hazard a guess at what was there last night since I couldnt even see certain sections of the pitch such was the size of the crowd, but surely there was more than 3500 there.

The official figure would include season ticket holders. There probably was significantly more in the ground, but for this thread we should use the official attendance.

There's no relegation this year Steve. Crowds for everyone but teams in contention for winning stuff will slide I'd say.
Is there 100% no relegation ?
Only 2 teams candidates for the bottom slot anyway, so not many involved. Conversely 6 or 7 in with a shot of either title - that's a third of the total league.
I'll predict a noticeable uplift in the overall average as the season draws to a close. Despite the backlog of fixtures and any lack of relegation.
Galway v Rovers is a good example of this, and will have boosted the overall average for Friday night.

I didnt see anyone over that side so if there was i stand corrected. I still dont think there was anywhere near 250
Is there 100% no relegation ?
Yes. Current eL ceases to exist at the end of this season. New league starts with participants invited. Of course teams position in the league this season is i think 20 or 30% of the criteria used to judge the invitees.
