More than I thought were there TBH.
Maybe people don't like being attacked after games
According to the papers 4100 at the City vs Derry game. The torrential downpour beforehand didnt help.

About 1000 at Pats v Longford tonight.
1086 (http://www.stpatsfc.com/attendances.php) per the Pat's website. Only an extra 86 people, but it does bring your average above Shels' by 2 people. ;)
Good service printing the attendances every week, but I tihnk putting up U-21 gates (67 and 85) and friendly gates (79) is a bit excessive!!

WLR FM stated that the attendance against Drogheda was just over 1000.
They are usually accurate.

i'd love if all games in both divisions were on at say 7:45 on a friday night and have a tv show on the same time giving all the latest scores - like soccer saturday in skysports. but if clubs can make more money having games on different days, thats the way its gonna stay. at the moment, the day on which games are played is all about money, which as we see from dub city - is in a shortage.
They make more money, but not a lot more money.
All league games in both divisions should k.o. on Saturday nights at 8.30pm, the best time of the week to attract crowds.

mypost has a bee in his bonnet about later evening kick-offs. Something to do with it working on the continent, where there's an entirely different culture to here. Ignore him.

Nah, rather people turn up for matches before ko. They like to come early and in an orderly fashion, not run around trying to make ko like here, and therefore miss the first 20 minutes.

I hate 3pm games on sundays, there's no atmosphere and all you can do is hope it's sunny so you can relax.

It's this kind of smalltime attitude that will keep clubs in Division 1.
Precisely. When I heard the reason that games werent on fridays or saturdays because Dundalk hire their bar out I honestly thought it was a complete wind up.
No offense but this is pathetic. Shels, boez, Drogheda also have bars but they dont put their games to midweek cos someone wants to have a **** up on a friday.
Again football is a weekend game. Its what you look forward to all week. Considering we werent allowed in the bar the last time we were there how much revenue did you lose then?
We must be the only league in the world that lets games be played at anytime or have games postponed for the most idiotic reasons e.g. Limerick moving back to the thursday because it was a bank holiday:eek:
Til the above garbage is sorted out this league will always be viewed as a joke.

You may have noticed that we are only tenants there. If oily doesnt want to open up nothing we can do.
But thanks for ignoring the issues I brought up previously.

We estimated 1000 in the RSC on Friday. Not too bad given the appalling conditions with a thunderstorm all day. All sections of the stand were reasonably full and about 20 poor (posssibly in both senses of the word?) souls stood out in the elements.

Bang on, can confirm that but as usual Pinneapple underestimates out attendances.
Ulterior motive anyone?

I hope as part of the new FAI superdooper league that clubs will be publishing attendances. I know that they send them to the FAI but why they aren't released i haven't a clue.

And how did he do this? Bluemovie just gave 1000, but two more of your fans agreed that 800 was about right. Should PS have waited for the figure you personally approve? Or are you just talking ****e?

Eh, no. I went with two other Waterford fans' guesstimates under the "Partizan is a gobsh!te" ruling. Rarely used, I know, but useful to drag up now. Maybe if you stopped sounding like a bitter stuck record, I might pay you some heed.
(Incidentally, I never posted which attenadnce figure I went with...)

Wow, amazing powers of reasoning demonstrated by our educated elite. Anybody who disagrees with you is 'a gobsh!te'.
Blooming marvellous.
so by your powers of deduction, me, bluemovie, WLR and the 1000 or so Waterford & Drogheda fans are also 'gobsh!tes'.
Talk about collective blame. You'd be brilliant in the Hague.

Nope, just you. That'd probably stand up in court too.
Lowest reasonable guesstimate goes in - 800 in this case. End of story.
You confirmed nothing - you quoted a figure you hear on radio.
You're getting rather tedious Partizan. Give it over. Nobody's interested in your conspiracy thoeries.

approx 1100 at the RSC Friday. About 150-200 standing around the ground and about 8-900 in the stand. (Stand holds 1275) for the SPX's benefit)

Stand holds 1275 (not the 1000 that is frequently stated here). There was around 150-200 of ye which was excellent on a Friday evening. If you looked to the left of the stand there were a good number of hardy souls standing on the 'lump' especially in the 2nd half as everyone huddled against the incessant rain.

Actually, now that you mentioned it, at half time I saw a good few people on the lump. Forgot about them.
887 at Pats v Waterford last night according to the Pats website. What's happening with the St Pats attendances? I thought over 2000 people signed a petition to keep Pats in Richmond, why are two-thirds of them not going to the games if they really want them to stay there so badly?

now hold on one minute, there was at least 7,203 at the game. Why all 50 of the season ticket holders turned up, thousands of kids left in for free and the cash paying public. Dont hide the true figures, we need to fool the eircom league committee so we too will get an invite to the Premier division  think 270 was the final total

Good crowd at the game last night, maybe 1500, Good Shels support considering Derry out numbered Shels last week in Tolka, I'd say bout 600 shels fans, nearly 1000 Bray around the ground.

I normally don't contribute to this thread but those figures saying 1000 Bray fans at the game on Friday are miles off. Maybe500 Shels fans and we outnumbered the Bray fans. So, less than 1000 there

It's a DART ride away!
Small crowd. Bray support was very small, outnumbered by Shels - but not hard to! Meh, I guess alot of people were at Electric Picnic or something. About 500 Shels maybe, 200 or so Bray?
