Longford v Derry: 700, 400-450 of which were from Derry :(

Drogs v LTFC: Not sure about guessing crowds at United Pk. but would say around 1400

I doubt it was that full. Looked pretty empty opposite the TV gantry.

Yeah, the side opposite the TV gantry is the away fans side. All the home fans are usually under the telly camera.

Yeah I know, I've been up there a rake load of times, but it's impossible to tell how many people are in there.

1246 announced at Terryland for Galway United v. Kildare County.

That includes season ticket holders and kids. I had to say thay before any of the exaggerators claim that there was 12,000 at the game. One section of the main stand is reserved for visiting fans. It was empty.

Mons v Dundalk

Would estimate 600 of which 500 were frozen Dundalk souls.

Mons Dogs being the only highlight, a bargain at eur 3.00 !

A dire 270 at UCD-Sligo. Can only assume the freezing cold weather, plus the fact that we're safe before FAI f***ing about, contributed to the crowd. Sligo had about 30 there.

Still, nice to be at a game under floodlights all the same!

not far off paddyfield but the official attendance was 1262 ;) was very disappointing and with the result makes bad reading for next weekends attendance with it being on a saturday (bad day for united) and on tele I cant imagine more than half tonights attendance turning up :(

The recruitment drive for fans at UCD seems to have gone down like a led ballon!

The arse seems to have fallen out of your attendances too as the games become glorified friendlies in this period of the season.

I'd guess about 900 for Pats v Cork tonight, if that. We're working hard on perfecting our Cup Final reverse-bandwagon effect. :o

In the local paper in Dundalk the attendance for the Monaghan v Dundalk was set at 800. I'd say 750 of these were Dundalk supporters

Of course. And I get flak by suggesting they are better off leaving the league?

Even when they were in the premier they still got CHF like crowds.

not to bad of a guess so as I was saying to the lads that I reckoned it was a little under 1500. There was actually more supporters there from Monaghan (2 girls) than cobh supporters (nobody except their team officials).

well terry there was about 12 cobh fans over beside their dugout (to the left of it as u look from the stand), unless they are the officials your talking about

I was going on the amount of away supporters that were in the area of the stand that is usually designated for them (which was zero) and what someone that was over on the far side said, but he was only guessing they were officials because where they were standing, he gave a figure of only 5 officials though?

That's a terrible crowd for your last home game of the season and the game that effectively wins you the title.

I'm not bitter all actually. Over 36 games you deserve the title. Well done. I am particularly impressed with your defensive record this year.

However, you can be sure if we had been in your situation then we would have had at least 3,000 there.

FFS, can we inject a dose of reality into this discussion? 1900+ is probably the 5th largest attendance at a game in that division this year. It's probably greater than any attendance seen at half the Premier Division grounds this year. Sad but true.

Cork City v Shelbourne: 5,500.

While you will see empty seats for segregation on tv would still be few hundred people standing that could fill in the gaps in seats.

I suppose that was biggest crowd of the season so far?

Approx 1500 at the RSC last night for the Derry game.

Stand packed with a couple of hundred standing at either side of the stand and the remainder scattered around the ground.

About 1250 at the RSC last including a good away following from Derry considering the long journey for them on a Monday night.

Partizan
14/11/2006, 8:51 AM
did you see the crowd standing beside the stand?

The stand holds 1275 of which I'd say that it was 90% full plus the 300 approx standing around the ground and to either side of teh stand.

Guestimate 1148(stand) + 300 = 1448. Not far off, in around 1450-1500.
