I'd say about 1000 at Bray and Derry with a decent away support as usual from Derry.

Would agree with that alright.

I would have thought 800-1000 at Bray v Derry
Poor away support due to the fact that we are taking near 2000 to Scotland next week and everyone is saving money/days for that.
Large pack of exchange students behind one of the nets started some Spanish football chants which was highly amusing. Much swinging of scarving and bouncing in unison......

I'd usually err on the side of caution with my guestimates, but I felt there were comfortably 1000 at the Bray-Derry game...I'll say 1,100! Our crowds have picked up over the past two games, and I've noticed a few floating supporters returning...it's just a shame it's the away teams that are putting on the show!

Any Pat's fans to cnofirm the Bray-Pat's figure of 1600? Most of Bray's crowds have been 600-700 this year, so it just seems a very large increase.
Seems about right to me. Apart from a scattering behind the goal, everyone was over on the DART side enjoying the sunshine and up until the last couple of blocks, that side looked fairly full.

Thats a very poor crowd for a derby game.
No it's more a sort of dislike between both teams rather than a derby.I hate Limerick but it's not a derby match.
About 250 there......50 loud Galway fans included.:)
1020 at Waterford United v Cork City last Saturday according the Munster Express this week.

I'd say there were about 1500 at Bray v Bohs...our results get worse, yet our crowds get better!

Realised i hadn't a clue about last night - what with the new stand and with folk moving from one side to the other depending on the weather; thought under 1,500 though - what does the stand hold?

Thats a very poor crowd for a derby game.
Weather and team were both crap at the time. Of course we could just be like our "local rivals" :p and straight up lie about our attendances so:
Official *cough* Attendance at Limerick F.C. v Galway soccerball franchise: 7936 not including the several million free schoolboy tickets ;)

59 Yes 59 at Kilkenny City v Limerick F.C

But i dont think that figure included the 2,304 season ticket holders who of course all turned up! :)

So that makes it 10240 if we're not counting the free kiddies. Although we probably should start doing it incase the fire officer comes to close us down

As noted before, not a chance. You could have fitted everyone in the main stand into one block => less than (1500/4) = 375. About 100 around the ground as well then. Maybe 500 at a stretch.

1,200 County V Rovers (in or around)
I would've thought there wasn't a hope in hell of there being that many there, certainly not as many as the first game...

Update after the weekend. 2005 and 2004 in brackets. FD and PD indicate average crowd got in a different division to current year.
Going to go with 3000 for the Dery game to keep it conservative as usual. Any other notes on Kildare-Rovers? Fairly big difference! Going to split it and go with 800 for now; unsatisfactory, but what can you do. Going to go with RonnieB's 600 for Longford-UCD on the grounds that there may have been more people around the ground than I allowed for.
Saw 2650 in the Star for Shels-Cork; the other figures appeared official and agreed to here. Anyone at the game to confirm this one? Have left it out for now.

Not being funny, but seriously where are all the Shams gone??
Awful crowds when your top of the league, what more do people want??
Didn't expect that many tonight, personally...bit surprised on Saturday.

There was between 400 and 450 at the Harps V Kilkenny game - swaying more to the 400 side than 450 I think.

Awful crowds. I dont think so there was a great crowd at the galway
game two weeks ago. What team would pull a crowd against Athlone( who we only played 3 weeks ago and whacked twice already) on a ****ing Tuesday night with a game another game on Friday, Not to mention the biggest game of our season Friday week

We still had more fans than the Home:rolleyes: team
Even tho it was a nightmare getting across town with bigotball on
There was, a significant amount of games still have good following throughout the season though - Dundalk away, Athlone away, Kilkenny away for a Tuesday night and Friday nights at home.
I think the first trip to Newbridge was never going to be repeated..

Official attendance - Rovers V Athlone was 642.
Athlone fans were non existant, although in fairness, they travelled in numbers for the original fixture when it was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
To be honest, wasn't expecting more than about 500 tonight.

Any night during the week is bad for travelling to matches. We are due to play you in Tolka again on Friday 29th September but I see that the FAI Cup quarter finals are on that weekend as well so with a bit of luck for both of us that match will be postponed to a later date. Whatever happens in the cup to both of us hopefully it will be changed to a Saturday or Sunday and we will travel in numbers again
