Not much to report really,a game of few chances i fell, both defences on top!
Both keepers had nothing to do,until set piece into our box was floating into our keepers hands chest high,no pressure, unfortunly spilled..
Tap in for the blackstone player.1-0 down after about 60minutes!
Would not fancy being a keeper,1 mistake and your punished, cant fault him,our keeper was missing due to work!
Anyway about 70th minute we broke, and colin stack through on goal, only for great save by there keeper, who parried out to johnny lynch who tucked the ball away!
1-1..After that blackstone hit the bar,we broke from there nd johny hit a sweet one which cracked the inside of the post!
In the end i think draw was fairest result on the day.
7 out 9 points this year.6 trips to the northside and 3 at home left!

Horse and oli is Jason forde still with ye?

ballyvolane 6 grattan o ,back to winning ways thank god,did what we had to do ,but as i said about another team this week the opposotion was very poor.but fair play to grattan they tried hard and had figo and pa o connor in their side.o connor is totally unfit but showed a few nice touches.plus points for us was a hatrick from the sought after john corcoran and alan murphy bossed the middle of the pitch. leeside at ballyvolane park next sat in aoh up next.

Did Gary Nolan start for ye Shetland?

So thats the big transfer to Blarney Street then? I hear one or two more have left Ballyvolane - and a few gone from Leeds too and a few new faces at Bohs - a lot of transfer activity before the window closes

Yeah Jason Forde is still with us - he was at a family christening today - his brother John was also absent

Heard from someone who was at the match that John got one rocket from 30 yards - can you confirm shetland? Also heard bizarrely enough that he is courting other clubs again - a strange one this time - heard it was Leeds - surely that one is wrong shetland??

A.U.L. 2A result.
C.F.C. Banteer 1 Killowen 1

A point on the road for us- we took the lead after 55 minutes and it looked like being a win for us until the 85th minute when they equalised. Very poor playing surface but both sides did their best to get the ball down and knock it around.

Lost today 4-1 to Wicklow Rovers in FAI Junior Cup. Played well enough but our young fellows didn't have enough experience. 2 down but they had a man sent off. We got well on top but had a second yellow for one of our men to level things. Got a goal back after 60mins and had 3 great chances to level things. They got their 3rd in injury time and also their 4th. Their a good team but nothing major. On a better note our U-15 team won 2-1 today against Avenue Utd.

Great to see our players are still scoring. Reading the Echo Wednesday I see Micky Forde got 4 for Glenthorn. They could have at least tried to hide his name. But from what I hear the objection was for some one different on the day. Crazy carry on really. Did Glenthorn really think no one would notice?

Would it be fair to say that some clubs dont actually remember that they have to get BOTH a cancellation form AND a registration form filled in to transfer a player?

Trouble i cant help it if people ring me or text me with information or call me looking for information . Also due to my involvement with the Cork AUL team I also hear information from lots of other clubs. What information would you like to know about Blackstone Trouble?? Trouble its not too difficult to work out who I really am - most people on here know who i am and a fair few know me personally! I was involved with Glenthorn in the past and lived in the Dublin Hill area so I cant help if i hear alot about Glenthorn/Leeds/Ballyvolane.

Plus Trouble when shetland came on here saying someone called to his door with a form I admitted straight away it was me - i dont hide behind an anonymous username like others on here

The rumours are flying!

John Corocoran used us to get his wish of playing up front is one.

I presume if Bohs are appealing to Glenthorn, then the paperwork is complete on their new keeper......and if it wasnt they would admit it????

Not even loyalty in local football. No wonder fellas are walking away after 32 years. A joke. Fellas would want to seriously think about club hopping, especially for one division. Find a club you like and make it your own. I wouldnt change my pitch for a player, or give him money or treat him differently. You wanna come to Blackstone, come - you dont, then dont.

Easy to see I have been burned by Torres isnt it???

Fair assessment Don - end to end last half hour.

Happy enough with the incomings in this window. Sad to lose the guy we did

Scaff, just another rumour I heard. Clarification accepted.

Ye are right to chase Glenthorn if they had illegal players. We did some years back and won.

In general, is loss of points in one game enough as a punishment? Should there be something like minus 3 extra points which keeps going up as offences occur?

There was a lot of talk alright and from what i can gather they have made themselves a few enemies...shame because its a good club with good people involved in the club but they should not talk so highly of themselves because teams will go all out to beat them and it starts in the dressing room before the match

Have to mention referee Pat Murphy who done our game yesterday. Ref's don't get too much of a mention unless they're bad. We lost 4-1 but he handled the game very well and used his common sense. Each side had a player sent off without any complaints. Funny thing happened in the second half, a ball from the game on the lower pitch came onto the pitch. Our player was attacking. Their player kicked the extra ball at our attacking player trying to hit him but missed. We lost posession but in fairness the ref call back play and gave a free and booked their player for unsporting behaviour. Blarney St. seem to be doing most business in the transfer market.

Shetland did Paul Hogan leave Blarney St. He's a good player. From talking to people seems that the Blarney St. manager is not the most popular or the most likeable guy to deal with.

Coachford 0 - 2 Waterloo

Unfortunately, our run of good results came to an end yesterday. It was a day in which we never really threatened their defence. Although we had most of the posession in the first half, We couldnt get the breakthrough. 0-0 at half time and Waterloo scored two goals late on to keep us down near the foot of the table.
Macroom up next week in the league. They are going very well and will no doubt be hot favourites for this one. Local Derby and we badly need the points. Should be a cracker.
