Yes Welsh TV showed Rhyl's home game against Belgrade last season. I watched a bit of it online.

Good draw alright.Pity not away first but even if first leg dosent go to plan you would expect Bohs to do the business in the away league! Interestingly their ground is actually in England.Oswestry in shropshire. Also TNS play in green and white hoops
so that will be an added incentive!

Really the draw has been favourable to both Bohs and Dundalk. Only progression for both sides is acceptable really.

can dundalk get either of the other 2 irish teams in the 2nd round??

Great draws for both Bohs and Dundalk! - 4 wins from them four games is not out of the question.. could be a brilliant year for the co-eff.
If Bohs progress it means they will have a shot at progression to the group stage of both the Champions League and the Europa League (Exciting times).

The Europa League draw is on a 45 mins break to sort out seedings. It is funny that it on at the same time as Portugal
V North Korea first half!

In fairness it was about the same "break" last year.

They just posted the groups up there. Flew by so didn't catch it. I think Fingal could play portuguese opposition, the winners of the Kalmar game and 3 others. Sorry couldn't be more helpful

I'd give Shamrock Rovers a chance in their match. Wouldn't give Fingal much of a chance but they should get a good gate out of that game. Dundalk have to get through the first round before even considering Levski but its probably out of their reach.

Alright draw for Shams.

Fingal draw is very tough, don't expect them to pick up any co-eff.

If Dundalk go through they will play Levski Sofia, the same team Derry played last year?.. Tough draw there as a Bulgarian team would be strong, don't expect anything here either (Should they progress)
----------

Shams and Bohs are our best hope for progression to group stages going by the draw there.

They didnt show Bangor last year. They would be mad not to show that one though.

Can anyone give us a recap of the matches? Did Bohs and Rovers get a home draw first leg ?

Cheers, i wasn't sure. Levski were the third highest ranked team in the draw which included team like Olyimpiacos and the likes. Says it all really - not much hope of further progression there.

Our hopes lie with Bohs and Shams. :)

I look at euro games 3 ways; likelihood of winning it, what sort of jolly is it, will the club make some money on it.

I think Rovers have been screw on all 3 fronts. I’d expect the Israelis to get through, as that league is fairly strong. The fans would only have a week to organise a trip there, and obviously a fair bit of expense. Now, they’ll probably get a decent home crowd (by far more than the other Irish clubs), its stil going to cost them a fortune to get there. Add in hiked up security costs (in flotilla protest way) and it’s a logistical nightmare.

Fingal may have the hardest task but they have the nicest trip. Probably won’t be a crowd puller but flghts to Portual are cheap and plentiful.

Dundalk should win the first tie, meaning they’r ein bonus time in Europe. Anything else they get is gravy.

If Dundalk and Bohs don't get through a round then there'll be a few happy Longford fans.

Think will take some very good performances in the second round for anyone to progress. Probably Fingal best shot at progression from there.

3rd round CL draw is after 1st fixture in second round?

Are Maretimo on the island of Madeira - rather than the mainland - somewhere north west of the Canaries?

Nice spot - but flights less frequent and much more expensive?

Mr A

I went on holiday out there last year and it was pretty cheap. You can fly direct from UK airports or via Lisbon.
