Lads - some of you were a little harsh on the performance by us in Lux. I just got home last night, it was 36c most of Thursday over there, even the locals said it was heatwave, and it wasn`t far off that by kick off at 7.30. We were also missing probably our 3 best players in Cherrie & Burns (both injured) and Melligan (left to Cheltenham), plus we havent won a lge game for 6 or 7 weeks now.
We really struggled with the heat, one of the younger lads drafted into the team had to take an ice bath at half time to cool down. Yes we were dissapointed not to hold it at 2-0, but we`ll beat them easy on thurs night, and overall I think it was a decent effort. Was also a great trip by the fans, hard to put a number on this, Irish Times said 200, I dont think that many, but brilliant craic and its a great city to visit.
Now if we slip up on thurs night, we deserve all we get - but it wont come to that.
 thanks
Best of luck to Dundalk and hopefully you will get through to a tie with Levski Sofia.

Any Bohs fans able to advise on how I could get a ticket for the TNS away leg ? I'm considering taking a run up for it from London. Coulld probably get a ticket via TNS, but would prefer to be in the Bohs' section.
I've had a look at the contact details for Bohs on their website, and whilst they're great if you want to contact specific named individuals (e.g. the President), there's no details for anyone to contact re simple things like tickets, the shop etc.
Any advice/pointers gratefully received. Thanks.

Steve,
your best bet is to call the club office directly and they will be able to help you. I think Lynn runs the office. Number is: (+353) 1 868 0923
from the website:
Tickets are selling fast for Bohemians’ Champions League match away to Welsh league champions TNS.
Bohs welcome TNS to Dalymount Park on Tuesday 13th July and the second leg of the tie will take place on Tuesday 20th July at TNS’s home ground in Oswestry, Shropshire, south of Wrexham.
Bohemians have been allocated 400 tickets for the 1,000-capacity ground. Tickets can be bought from the club offices during the day-time and club bar in the evenings and at the weekend. Please note that there will be no tickets on sale on Monday evening due to our away game with UCD.
Members and season ticket-holders will have the numbers of their cards recorded and matched with numbered tickets. Other purchasers will need to bring proof of identity and their names will be recorded and matched with numbered tickets. Tickets are priced at €20.
not sure how easy that will be to do from London but im sure they'll be able to accommodate you.
Alternatively, i think youre registered on the Bohs mb - as a last resort im sure if you asked nicely one of our friendly posters would pick up a ticket for you and arrange to give it to you at Oswestry.
Hope you get sorted.
edit: not too many tickets left according to reports.

Not sure if this has been picked up here yet, but IF Dundalk beat Grevenmacher and IF by some miracle we beat Levski, Dundalk will be seeded in the third qualifying round. This is by virtue of the fact that the third round draw is made between the first and second legs of the second qualifying round, so "Levski or Dundalk" will be drawn, and thanks to Levski's coeffiicent "Levski or Dundalk" will be seeded. Bizarrely Dundalk probably wouldn't want to be seeded in the third round as it means that even if we do somehow progress that far we won't be able to draw Liverpool or Juventus!
Not likely to be an issue, I expect we'd be at least 20-1 to beat Levski.
Shamrock Rovers / Beni Yehuda / Ullisses and Sporting Fingal / Maritimo will be unseeded in round three.

Levski aren't all that hot - if Dundalk are going to pull off a shock it'll be now! Same goes for Sporting Fingal, though I'd worry for Rovers. (Levski are in meltdown and the midst of an ownership struggle)

Shame the club couldn't put together a private stream - I'm sure it would be doable but probably not financially viable, so I wouldn't criticise the club. Will probably get more people out to the match anyway.

suppose it would be to much to ask for rte to show the goals tonight on the news? seen tv3 showed some of last weeks goals this morning at 8am. MNS should have it mon night anyway.
A poster on OW said RTE.ie are doing live streaming.
I don't know if they are though.

I phoned to check earlier - didn't want to travel up & find it sold out - they said there's still plenty left - not expecting it to sell out anyway

Thats entirely due to Uefa not taking their full allocated amount that must be kept aside and the fact that the away side have apparently only sold 20 tickets!

No mention of it on here - they just have Newmarket up until about 6 o'clock.

They have this very hi-tech live score updater, but it's hardly much use

Rovers will be wearing a European Kit in our away games in Europe (and in domestic cup games), presumably going to wear Hoops at home for the European games though

Use futbol24.com, normally pretty good, theres a live section on the left hand side and it beeps and makes a loud noise when a goal is scored! Gets quite annoying after a while!
