lawson is a big trophy centrehalf ye are in a good position to win home in the next round, did balla give the same respect to cusack as they did the rest of the managers and having a say where the trophy goes isnt the same.

Agreed the Lawson is a big trophy but going on current form we wouldnt be favourites to win it but as you said still in with a shout.
Yeah I think the players have given Cusack the same respect but as I said some of the bigger players are getting old and had allot of injuries and suspensions to deal with. I'm not saying having a say where the trophy goes is the same just stating that Balla are capable of taking points off of Fairview and Pike regardless of having a poor season, but your obviously confident ye will beat Balla going on your recent post "when we beat balla ", you seem to be forgetting Balla already beat ye in the league earlier in the season.

how do you make that out! pike have to go to us,carew, boro, wembley,we have boro out of the way and i dont think balla and reg are up to much this year.
I know everybody has confidence in their own team , but what have fairview done this season that make's you so cocky . At the moment yere season is very average . Your sayin balla and regional arent up to much . Have a look at your own team .

Judging by what I'm reading in the last few pages he's Ross Cosgrove ex Limerick 37 and current Fairview Prem sub. ;)

Explains a lot actually.

The league would be much more interesting if some clubs other than Regional can take points off pike. Theres alot of people going on about not being out of the league , so it would be nice if somebody did something about it! Pike will win the league end of story because the other 'top' teams just havent the guts to stand up to pike and thats a simple fact. Outside of Regional not one club has taken a single point off Pike. If Regional had a bigger squad things may have been different but as for the rest ( View Boro Balla ) forget the league ye have no chance.

c'mon boro view balla and anybody else, lets take points off the league leaders(pike in this case) so as regional can win the league....regional should concentrate on beating teams other than pike and they might win the league..

Thats a rubbish statement. Regional have played pike twice. The view, boro and balla have yet to play pike again, with the boro and fairview having home games.fair play to pike at the moment however they are still winning games when they've been missing alot of players lately.

Boro went 1 up mid way threw the first half with a header from thomas clarke..Peter ryan finished well inside the box with about 5 mins to the half..Wembely came out strong in the second half and scored within a few mins of the restart..they put us under a bit of pressure for about 10 mins and we came back into it after that and shane clarke scored with about 5 mins to go which finished the game:ball:

No widow im just stating the facts , not enough teams are pushing pike hard enough when they play them. Think Pike won 12 league games in a row , doesnt reflect well on the league as a whole. Standard has dropped from 2-3 yrs ago. Then there was 5 -6 teams taking pts off eachother at the top of the table. At the moment you cant see Pike dropping pts nevermind being beaten.

As for regional its no good beating pike twice if you cant beat the rest of the teams, the team thats consistent will win the league, table doesnt lie, pike will drops points they have tough fixtures.

AA 1-2 Janesboro

in a game that was played in perfect conditions on a fine pitch Boro took the points against a well drilled, organised AA.Boro started better playing some nice football and knocking the ball around well and were 1 up after 10 minutes,Monty lost his marker on the wing and his drilled ball into the box was poked home by Darren Naughton.AA came into the game after this and only for 4 great saves from Darren Glasheen(including a brilliant double save)the game could have swung the other way HT 0-1
Boro doubled their lead early in the second half when the ball fell kindly to Monty in the box and he made no mistake, blasting the ball into the top corner. He could of wrapped the game up soon after when he beat the offside trap but was denied by the on rushing keeper.AA pulled one back with minutes to spare when a ball into the box was not dealt with and the centre forward(who looked dangerous all game,Joe something)side footed home
a good win for Boro which sees them up in to 4th in the league and leap frog AA
best this morning were Darren Glasheen,Dom Fitz and Peter Ryan who i thought worked his socks in midfield all morning
