Weather is bad,hasnt stop raining will the result make any differance to the table are carew safe.

Wont make much difference as pitch has gotten a hammering in the past 5 weeks(we have had only 1 pitch in use for the last 5 weeks) a lot of matches played on it so one more wont do much more damage. will be getting it renovated at the seasons end.

carew might need one or 2 more wins to be 100% safe..

Trueview: just walked our main pitch...some amount of surface water on it.. rain still milling down. cant see match going ahead. Re 2nd pitch, Limk corpo needed access to main sewage drain for southside of city.. said drain runs directly under 2nd pitch.they came in about 4-5 weeks ago, excavated an area of about 5 x 4 yrds in the peno area on pitch,, they are still farting around.. saying that it gave us a chance to bring fwd some badly need remidial work that needed to be carried out on the two problem areas on 2nd pitch. that work is now completed and staring to knit in nicely. all we need now if for the corpo too finish and then we can get the excavated area repaired..

You,ve some neck oscar slaging our field we did,nt know if we were playing a soccer match or water polo down there,:Dall the one it looked like ye did,nt want to play us anyway:Dmust of being short a few pal:confused:Ye were,nt doing much to get the match either.

Thats the cause of the other field been so bad there is a pipe burst down there and its all flowing on to the good field but its all been fixed at the moment..leather gave a good account of it in the last page:ball:

Lads watced Regional at home to granville tonight before catching the latter of the tuohy final. Granville deserved somthing from this one, they started slowly and were one down and from there missed a host of chances before Regional scored a good goal in last few minutes. Have to say didn't look too much between the sides and on this evidence Regional have their work cut out to finish anywhere near Pike or Fairview, the mind boggles as to how they beat Pike so easily last week

mistake for first goal gifted regional their first last week. Then as pike chased the game they got another 2 . simple as that, the scoreline against pike flattered them....but they got the 3 pijts which i am sure is all that mattered to regional...

Thought Regional were comfortable , got their goal after a few minutes and were quite happy to let Granville try and break them down. Trust me if this game was still going on Granville would still not have scored. Regional had 2 players starting lastnight that havent even been in their squad this season never mind started a league game. Based on those facts Regional will be quite happy with 3 pts. Granville have a habit of bringing teams down to their level and proved this again lastnight. Regional to me seam like a team that is at its happiest playing against the better teams ( did the league double over Pike ) and if they get their squad back to full strength there maybe something at the end of the season for them.

From what I was told lastnight , Regional have only been beaten once in 90 mins this season. Credit where credit is due!

at least it is OUR field put there by the hard work of many good boro men over the last 4 decades...NOT a Handout..you werent complaining when you had to use it for 3 seasons and the only thing you ever did to the fields was to bury bud bottles into it ...i have good time for the guys who try to run carew but some of the dim wits who post on here wouldnt know if the ball was pumped or stuffed. what are you going to do when you have a big match and peckam spring is flooded???? some people have very short memories but I dont..

Wasent it only a couple of weeks ago thay had to play a munster junior match in jackman.

Leather i dont often agree with you but your post was 100% right,but i blame the boro for letting carew pk use yer pitch,carew never had the use of our pitch no way would it happen,i wonder how many carew park players or committee were shouting you on against clonmel i would say none.
