Its easily the best of the four pitches in rathuard. Fine pitch on its day but this weather might take its toll.
Its tough to say balbec but if they didnt play there sunday just gone it could be ok

cheers philbert ,if this rain keeps up its a wetsuit and flippers we will need
it depends on the ref too balbec he mightened want get out of his car if the weather is bad , who down to ref it ?
Will Boro match go ahead heard it cut up pretty bad last week and isnt the fai coming up? will it hold up for the weekend leather if the weather persists?

they should, but that shower are liable to do anything, alot of ref's wont mind turnin up to some pitche's sunday mornin to call off a game and get half the match fee.all prem games will go to sunday pitch inspections id say, everything else will be off.
Look at the likes of Boro and Fairview if games go ahead this sunday what state will the pitchs be in for thier fai games. Both teams wont want to lose home advantage

whats the point in playing this week, destroying your pitch, weather probably crap next week, clubs unable to do any remedial work on their pitches, FAI tie then postponed and the home team looses home advantage...I'll take the break please..every advantage required to try and progress..playing away from home not an advantage i imagine..

If the pitches are rated 50/50 for a game Sunday and the home club have a FAI game the following Sunday would they have a say in the match being called off this Sunday to keep the damage to the pitch at a minimum so that they wont lose home advantage in the FAI the following week

not normally, the ref has the descision, but clubs have been know to be in the ref's ear. They could call the ldmc on sat and advise their pitch is unplayable also but at the end of the day the ldmc decides.

the groundsman would definetly have a say 100 percent

Dont think Balla have any chance of the league this season to be honest, but whatever hopes they do have will be crushed if they dont collect 3pts v Carew on Sunday.

good win for carew.starting to worry about balla.can see them slipping into mid table.as you say thomas 72 the pace carew now seemed to have sounds like it had a big impact on the game.balla are a team getting old who dont seem to have many young players coming through.
