IMO in pike avoid defeat on sunday they are bankers to win it. Its between regional and pike now. balla the view have slim hopes of it at this stage

no chance , pike will win by 4 or 5 easy

i wouldn't rule them out yet,long way to go but agree a win for either team would make that team favourites

carew are at home to fairview. fairview beat them 5-0 at home first game of the season. Won't be the same this time, carew have really turned things around and are getting some good results. This weather keeps up there'll be nothing on next weekend.

pike win they'll be favourites, regional have to win to keep the pressure on pike

will agree with you oscar but as i said previously there were a couple of factors
that contributed to it being poor.

54-56 points usually wins the league, although boro won it a couple of years ago with 52 points I think. We've 12 games left, 36 points would bring us to 56. We'll have to go on a major winning streak, but we're out of the mjc and fai so we might aswell keep plugging away see what happens. I reckon we'll find ourselves back in contention in a couple of months

ya we won it with 52 two years ago, there was a real battle for the league that year with 2 points (i think) seperating the top 3 teams, we lost 4 games but a large amount of draws cost regional and pike the title in the end.

was a real nerve jangling run in having lost to regional at home in a midweek game we had to go to pike the following sun and went 1 down early on and somehow got back into it and a fairly poxy aido fitz goal won it for us

even then if back went to balla and won they would have been in a playoff at least

one of the most exciting finishes to the league in years

although pike werent done any favours by having to play the night before us

oh thats when you were signed with 2 clubs..if i recall you only came along towards the end to claim ur medal...balla and view are still in the race its way to soon to count any team out...balla would be my dark horses..regional to fall away after sunday

oh thats when you were signed with 2 clubs..if i recall you only came along towards the end to claim ur medal...balla and view are still in the race its way to soon to count any team out...balla would be my dark horses..regional to fall away after sunday

your right there , regional have no chance. How are star doing in 1B or is it 2A?:)

I think that Pike will be favourites on Sunday if they play to potential should win handy.
On another note I dont understand why the 1st full round of fixtures are not finished first before embarking on the 2nd, what games have teams left to fulfill to complete round 1?:confused:

you recall incorrectly i transfered back down in january if thats towards the end i suppose its what i did

I thought there was a ruling made last year by the LDMC that all 1st round games had to be played first before they started on the second round. Looking at some of the teams they still have 2 & 3 games of the first round to play..Looks like the LDMC are suiting themselves again or pulling strings for some teams........

Thats true but all clubs should object to them changing the rules..... Heard Carew will be playing in the fairgreen on Sunday problem with their own pitch...

ya there's a problem up there alright,something to do with drainage i think,they played their MJC game in Jackman and were charged for it,had to line the pitch themselves and give up half the gate to that shower of crooks below there

They had to pay for the use of the pitch,(200 euro) even though as a member of the league they PART OWN the ground.they also had to pay the 3 officialls.(approx 110 euro) Ldmc manned the gate and counted the monies. they then took their share..all in all carew park were down a right few quid to use a picth that they part own...DISGRACE. I hope that any clubs that let LDMC use their Facilities, pitches or clubhouse, charge them a fortune.If they get a chance they will do it too you.

Was taking to some of the lads from Carew..They had to pay to rent the field but Carew got the gate and the pitch was lined for them..Thay had to go down on saturday morning to fix any divits on the pitch.....

well it was a player who told me also,so a few different stories going round,the point is why should they have to pay for pitch,its wrong if you ask me,thats all i'll say on it

I thought that purpose of LDMC was to Oversee the administartion and promotion of junior football in limerick not to try and pile up as much cash as possible from the junior clubs.

dam it, so the news has broken, since the kaka deal has fallen through with city they have turned their attention to me (yes i was surprised also). My agent is currently in talks about the hot dog attendant position behind the main stand...:D currently i am in manchester having a medical , at least thats what the 'Boots' lady said when i stepped on the scale at the trafford centre......
