Leather just to clarify somethings for you.. We did not get hand outs for our feild. We received the money from the NRA for them Buying the old feild for the new road.. You should know what it takes to run a club and some people worked long and hard over the last few years to get Carew park a home Ground. I didn't see Boro complaining when they were getting a nice cheque for the use of there second pitch. Yes I do agree with you we have had some issues with the drainage but it is a new field and all issues are been resolved.. Jackamn was hired around the time of the problem with the Drainage but Leather Boro have a short memory as ye also checked out the price to hire Jackman for the FAI if the Boro was unplayable.... All I can say is Carew would be more than Happy to help out any Limerick Team who needed the Pitch for a Game not like some people on this site who love to see clubs struggle..We can't all have the luxury of a Bar to help fund a club......

Kilmallock beat Regional 2-1. Ray Lynch put Regional ahead after 15 mins. Kilmallock were on top for most of the first half and were unlucky not to get on level terms before the break when Conor Moloney hit the cross bar with a great header. Then two goals in 2 mins in the second half put Kilmallock ahead first by Mark Heffernan and then a super lob by Tommy Heffernan. Great win for Kilmallock and well deserved.

Biggest shock of the season so far. Fair play to Kilmallock, probably too late for ye to avoid the drop?

we wont throw in the towel yet we still have to play the teams around us and only 3 points off dramore and corbally and granville so we have to build on this win

Oscar I would advise you to check out your information first before making statements on this site. Ask Martin and John. Boro received the Money for the rental of the pitch as did Hill Celtic when we rented Hogan Park. I don't want to quote the figure they got... Do you honestly think they would have given us the pitch for two seasons if they hadn't received any money.
leather
14/04/2009, 7:53 AM
kaz1073,
your are correct, the rental for the 3 years use of pitch was finally sorted out late last year... no fault whatsoever on behalf of Carew...wasters in the co.council gave us a bit of a runaround but eventually sorted...Oscar only yankin your chain

According to the table balla could finish in the lower half of the table surely they are better than that, did they give the manager a chance.

What do you mean did they give the manager a chance, the club or players.?
True Balla are having a poor season and the way things are going it will be the first season in eight years without a trophy. Allot of the team are coming to the end of their careers after staying toghether for so long and also suffered with allot of injuries and suspensions at crucial periods of the season. Balla still will have a say on the league as they still have to play Fairview and Pike.

ha ha trueview you have some cockyness....that belies you name...
were you the same guy sprouting that ye would win the touhy final....beat your arch rivals for the first time in years...that the loss had been positive (in some strange way to challenge for the league)...
yes it was you my friend and i am sure any balla readers will see this and tell the management and players that fairview see them as a handy 3 pts....nothing lijke gibving them ammo for a team talk !!!

lawson is a big trophy centrehalf ye are in a good position to win home in the next round, did balla give the same respect to cusack as they did the rest of the managers and having a say where the trophy goes isnt the same.

Yes i did think we would win the touhy cup and you would have to say it was touch and go,as for the positives that came out of that game last year pike beat us 5-1 in the league and looked like we were years behind last 2 games proved just a kick of a ball in it.Im not bad mouthing balla just wanted to know what was behind there poor form.
