Dromore 1-3 Janesboro

Boro took all 3 points in what can only be described as a sticky game,Tom Clarke opened the scoring when his free kick went through the Dromore keepers hands and legs,Dromore pulled one to leave it 1-1 at HT.Monty put the Boro back in the lead after a goalmouth scramble and Dromore had a perfectly good goal ruled off for offside.Dromore piled on the pressure and with minutes remaining Boro broke and Eddie Brazier found Shane Clarke unmarked on the edge of the box and he powered home the thirdSticky game is right..Dromore were much better then during the week..they are hard to beat at home

Last game it was "Granville should have won easy" now its "Granville deserved at least a point"..........thats football, and thats what happens when your fighting relegation.

Two teams from Kilmallock, Granville, Dromore and Corbally for me!!!

Good evening all, Have just started watching the premier footy again after a long break. This morning watched some of the granville wembly match, bit of boro and dromore and finally most of the 2nd half of the pike carew clash.
Imo granville were a little unlucky to go in 1 down at the half wembly only had a couple of attacks but took their 1 st goal very well. Dromore boro match was tough boro missed 3 sitters before being gifted the lead, dromore fought back really well and got the equalizer just before half time..missed 2nd half but if dromore can keep up their spirit and fight they just might survive.
Pike v carew was a little disapointing, but condition were attrocious.Wind ruined it..pitch was fantastic and a credit too pike.carew tried hard but were just off the pace..they should be safe for the rest of the season.was not impressed with some of the pike players but very strong at the back, enright on top form.Pa maloney worked his socks off but could have done with a little more support..Young hanrahan a fine young player. trying too waste time in the corners with 5 mins to go did not impress.pike players need to trust the ability that they have and finish off teams and not just try and hang on.

with the ball out of play, why would a players pick up a piece of turf from the pitch & rub into his eye? saw it happen this morning and was just baffled...

Fair play Oscar. That's a very balanced report on the game.

Well done to the Boro. Good win in tough conditions. We were disappointed with the result but that's football. Thought the ref handled the game very well yesterday. The goal he disallowed was a big call but if they can't get it right in the premiership with linesmen what do you expect. In fairness he told us afterwards that IF he made a mistake he was sorry. That's as much as we could ask.

Super finish by Shane Clarke for the third.

i saw the fairview and corbally game, good game in light of the conditions, both teams did their best to play ball on the ground, the wind that was blowing was gale force! a draw def a fair result, considering both sides had chances. corbally should stay up, on a side note i saw that jason purcell got sent off after the game for abusin the referee, could be in a spot of bother now!

from what team was the player rubbin dirt in his eye on sunday, thats fairly pathetic!!!

the question is why would he do that? was he saying some player threw dirt in his eye. or was he wasting time saying he got dirt in his eye. There are easier ways of wasting time than doing something like that

so you're saying your own club Regional are throwing the towel in,bit early maestro...its not even half way through:eek:Pike would of been favourites at the start of the season, and probably still are but they are hardly running away with it...Regional might have given up but i'm sure the other 2 teams in contention(Balla and Fairview)won't give up so easy:ball:

well they have to play regional, boro, fairview, aishling and carew away still. and have balla and fairview at home still. I think they'll drop points and the league is still wide open. At the moment tho the pressure is on balla, regional and fairview to stop dropping silly points

I think Maestro knows that Regional aren't good enough and wont last the pace especially after last Sundays game against Balla. To say they were lucky to get a point is an understatement. Balla completely outplayed them and dominated the game and could have and should have won by three clear goals.Regional just arent at that level when it comes to the crunch against the other top teams imo

Do you mean is a title winning side should be expected to beat Corbally handy enough ? Our team is made up of players from last year with the addition of minors from last year... we've also signed one or 2... but most of the lads are very young
