Doing some business on the app adding players kits etc all the leagues are done on it I say they’ll be released tomorrow,

I thought it was a completely different crowd do the app?
Id say the aul too busy getting the blazers ready for their 1st night out.
Hopefully now today - must be uncertainty over teams or something

6 teams in Premier A is a bit of a farce.

Here’s hoping some clubs here will support coachford next week and the bias and begrudging don’t spoil what should be a great game and coachford go on to win can be great advert for the league

All leagues have to do their own admin for the App. Nothing to do with Dublin.

14 teams in division 3. That league will still be going this time next year.

With so many leagues above with low numbers surely one or 2 could have moved up a league. Very little difference between the quality of Division 1 and 2

I think when gaa is over and the Hill boys want to go back playing soccer that league will be a farce

fruice

I think as I said previously the league tried but teams wouldn’t move for them.

Surely Watergrasshill won’t be allowed have to those players in the 3rd division.

The league have left the numbers of promotion places open this hopefully will help balance the divisions next season

there’s not much the AUL can do if teams won’t move up a division. I believe the new teams were given the option to start off up a division or 2 if they wanted. I would say very little difference quality between division 1, 2 and a few teams in divsion 3. Probably could have spread it out a bit out more but that more to do with the clubs that the AUL I’d say. I thought there was only 1 relegated from premier A last season but I see corkbeg in division 1.

How the premier has less than ten teams is an absolute farce, there’s no need for a 3rd division if the top two leagues are such low number, make it 4 leagues of ten teams with divisions one and two with the extra numbers

Sure that would make too much sense.

14 teams is a huge division .

But the clubs are half the problem the league should have stood their ground and fired a few teams up especially with 6 new teams.
47 teams is great should target 50 for next season.

They could also have played hard ball with relegation the aim should be get 10 in all Divisions.

Easier said than done I suppose

One reason Coachford!!!

Teams don’t want the challenge of competing with them.

Take Grangevale last season as a prime example they had worked their way up the divisions in the AUL felt they couldn’t compete fecked off to the shipping league for handy silverware.

Not too long ago it was the case Ger, they’ve made an absolute balls of it this year with those numbers

Watergrasshill will do what they like.
This is the same team who pretty much downed tools after coachford hammered them in cup last year and didn't play any.ore games.
The aul gave a few of them as nil nil draws with no fines.
Bar desmond going to ringmahon not too many others have left.. it's a joke and unfair on teams in div3.

How the aul have a 6team prem A and and then that size of a div 3 is laughable

From what I have read in the rules, you can if the club your signing them from agrees to it.

Are the AUL just completely abandoning social media? Not a peep 6 days out from start of season.

GerCork
13/08/2025, 11:20 AM
There is clear frustration from every club about the lack of communication or social media presence within the league. I wonder if there is something we could all do to try and get some youth and interest on the committee. There must be something all the AUL clubs could band together and do. There isn't a club out there that is going to say "no they are doing a great job"

Harsh ref
13/08/2025, 11:26 AM
Totally agree with you there Ger I said same thing last year bring people on to committee to do jobs that committee or not doing now I repeat what I said last week we probably get fixtures Thursday few Tue teams be only getting few days notice when their starting

“Please be aware that if a player is leaving one club for another club, you must have permission from the previous Club before you register the player for your Club.

Also you can only register 3 players from one Club.”

That came in an email from the AUL earlier this summer

Average Baller
13/08/2025, 11:54 AM
If that’s the case, I’m sure ye are correct. How did Castleview register all the players that came from Grattan last season and vice versa this season?

fruice
13/08/2025, 12:16 PM
On this season based on the rules set down the league it appears that Grattan B are in breach of these rules especially when both clubs are in the same division

You would think the league would act on it especially having sent an email stating you can only sign 3 players from one club.

With regards to last season maybe Castleview B were able to work around it as Grattan B weren’t registered last season.

I’ve never seen them look for anyone to join the committee or even just to support. I’m sure there’s plenty people out there would be happy to get involved especially on the social media communication side of things.

Harsh ref

It will be hard for anyone to join Aul cause you won’t have a opinion you can’t do anything without Martin giving go ahead I always thought will Aul your giving a title and that’s your job but looking at last few seasons everything has to go through Conlon before they do anything

Grattan team folded last year so they were free to sign, max 3 if team is still going.

Your not free if your moving to other club you need transfer and I’m sure as Ger said earlier you can only sign 3 players from one club that’s what Aul sent out so this could get sticky be crazy few days before season starts
