Mallow United seniors folded , a number of players have signed for Mallow Town that were senior last year.

Looks on the app like it’s just a keeper and 41 year old midfielder from mallow seniors. Actually more older lads in there than initially looked.

Going on their first half performance against coachford I was impressed could of scored 2/3 goals themselves also heard last night their stronger this evening 3 lads missing last week back so have to give um a chance especially if the can get wonks up and running decent player on his day but this is Grattan you never know what they’ll have so good game surely

Sluggish first half from both Grattan and Knocka not much to report to be honest both teams just trying the ball over the top which both keepers mopped up. Second half Knocka were well over Grattan, lovely through ball for Knocka first goal and tidy finish from Evan Burke. Some sloppy poor Grattan defending let Jack Lenoard and Burke again to wrap it up to make it 3-0. Grattan went long all day to Bullman and Adam who were really starved of service. Knocka settled into it second half and deserved the win. Could be long season for Grattan, their a ageing side, wont be challenging Coachford this season as for Knocka they have a few handy young players will get better each game they play together. Knocka missing few also ..few starters aswell be good game Saturday against the view ...hearing few more wanting join knocka from local clubs and a senior player ment be in the loop striker if i am right

By God how poor was that gratten team last night, must give credit to knocknaheeney celtic for making them look like a schoolboys team in the 2nd half they ran them ragged with pace and power, gratten were very slow is it because a few are in there 30s and 40s its a hard game when your at that age playing against a young team, route 1 doesn't work against teams at all and that's how gratten plays, its gonna be 2 losses in a row for them after Saturday when they enter the lions den, ice cream for every 1.

Let’s be clear their all only playing for second but I was impressed with Knocka first half against coachford their second half last night they were class if they can put it together for 90mins they’ll be handful heard this morning one or two more players asked to sign last night so things might be finally looking up for club you can see their putting work in training cause some of their passing and moving last night was good to watch must agree with fish few of Grattan players passed it no legs no desire to play ball hit and hope looks to be strategy Bulman one best in league and they have him chasing after balls like a dog in the park surprised Knocka not on his case he’d be some player with them Adam Lee another lad that must look at him himself very good on his day but looked bang average last night players like Adam need to be in the game more the lad a match winner and he hoping for lucky breaks off long ball their back line well off it for years Grattan where knowing for their defending Harry Eric sully but best one of their defenders last night was Peelo covered the rest so much and that lads 40 years age for me Grattan need to work hard Thursday on training ground cause they could take another beating sat off village and on top of that I’m hearing this missing few this weekend from team last night sat will tell a lot with Grattan for me

Harsh couldn’t agree more.
Bullman great player should be getting the ball to feet and looking to run at players from the wing.
Adam lee should really take a look at himself on his day one of the best forwards in the league but Getting no service and being booked after 4 mins into the game held him back.
Keith Harris also in my opinion didn’t look like he wanted to be there at all way off the mark with fitness

Daniels would love bullman and adam lee in knocka ..he respects both them the would fit in well and make knocka a way stronger side .dont see y burnsy didn’t sign for knocka..Jamie was absolutely fantastic in midfield last night for knocka

Knocknaheeny are and were a better side; not much else to debate in my opinion. On a flat pitch, it might have been a lot worse.

I reckon they will be too strong for Castleview as well but could face a harder test than last night.

I saw the Facebook post saying they were strong and had signed plenty, but I didn't see that last night either. With three subs, they must have been missing a good few of their new signings.

Good crowd there; it was an enjoyable game. The Grats will need to improve to beat Village, but they need the three points now to get off the mark, so I'd say they will be strong. A few losses and there could be an exodus.

So few weeks back I reported that there was trouble between Grattan and castleview and I won’t mention name but Mr rule book on here told me Grattan did nothing wrong by signing 15 players from View but I stated some deal had to be made if this was allowed and Mr rule book said I was talking rubbish it was well with in Grattan rights so last night I was informed at the game that young muzzy wanted to sign for Grattan but he was refused cause Castleview have agreement that Grattan can’t sign anymore of their players over the Deal I repeat Deal that was made with the B teams and Aul now the young lad won’t play with castleview so how can this be why isn’t the lad allowed sign for Grattan Rossum can you explain what’s going on and don’t say I’m talking rubbish my info came from the horses mouth hahahai told ye look back at my posts that some Deal had to be done

Still reckon grattan will beat village Saturday, they play **** ball, look unfit but they’ll always have power and strength, village to me, one of the softer sides in the league, play good ball but can’t handle physicality, can anybody name a player in that village side you’d want in a battle? Bullman and Lee will have a field day with the village centre halves especially on that hill when it’s constantly in on top of them, midfield no better to be honest, Pa and Zack fantastic ball players but that doesn’t matter if the ball is in the air constantly.
Just hope it’s as good a game as their games last year, every one of them was a thriller

Grattan have a tough start they need the points saturday….Knocknaheeny and castleview will be a cracker…the talk in my place view are missing 3/4 players but they should still be as strong as knocknaheeny….no new players for knocknaheeny will be registered in time for saturday…predicting a high scoring game 4-4 or 5-4 either way

Goalkeeper loves playing out and made some great saves . Some of the village subs too were excellent. Paul Sullivan was ref he’s embarrassing. Blue John corcoran for 13 off sides
