Surely teams will be told shortly when season starts and be giving plenty notice cause Aul quite capable of just throwing up fixtures on Monday and having teams play Thursday

Common sense would be knowing that a pre season friendly means nothing.

A friendly is to get the team bonding together and trying things, but it’s always nice to come away with a win no matter where.
Was talking to a knocka player during the week and his words were if we lose 1 or 2 games I’m gone…

Friendly against team in yer league complete rubbish wouldn’t see other team asking coachford just my thought and on Knocka player think lads saying they have 24 signed this player must be blow in or player that won’t get game cause Knocka lads won’t leave forget Grattan Knocka I’m hearing castleview will be in the mix theses lads don’t. Jump club like Knocka and grattan players they die for the club haha

Harsh I agree with you with the game kinda stupid to play a team in your league a week before it starts
I know both teams are also missing 4/5 players each but it’s minutes in the legs still when it’s not that easy to get friendlys especially when your battling to win premier each year not many lower league teams want to play and be embarrassed a week before there own league starts
Should be a close battle today and no one will run away with a lead is the main thing always physical and tough up in that dive of a pitch so it’s good for the legs for the both teams

Ah stop ref no way castleview will be in the mix this season they are like a FART they linger for awhile and the just dissappear all mouth and no action, giving all the big boy talk in the local after a few bevvies but haven't achieved nothing,

Some great goals some horrendous defending must say I was looking forward to watching village over all theses playing they brought in very disappointing think they’ll do well to stay up looking at them today few young players but I think when going gets tough for um they’ll struggle to keep 11 players on pitch

We were the better team today infairness think the people watching game would agree with me , we were the only team playing football but were missing a few today so it was only minutes in the legs for the young guns, gratten got 2 OK free kicks keeper should of saved them, gratten backline was poor I'd say the age of backline must of been 200 between the four of them, onwards and upwards uppp the village.

Village 3-4 Grattan. Even enough game overall for me. Some absolute lovely free kicks in the game from Jake Murray and Adam Lee, hard to say which one was better. Village came flying out of the blocks and Grattan as usual didn't panic and came into the game. Both defences looked shakey at times.Grattan know how to get their nose over the line and Village dont, which all good teams do. Good to see Chalky back reffing again the character.

Aaron and David both right and left back missing for grattan including centre back burns will go in there no doubt, OK free kicks are you having me on 3-3 game and 40 yard free kick thumped in off the cross bar no keeper stopping it bullet by Lee

Reff for me and this no kick I personally think both squads today will need to add 5/6 players to have any chance to compete both backline poor even players you said missing good but not outstanding for me coachford won’t lose much sleep

Think both teams today are very poor and then castleview drawing to Springfield the team everyone put 5+ past last season dunno is that a good or bad thing for the view looks like them 3 teams will be struggling this year

Castleview are in trouble I reckon can’t say much only pre season though wouldn’t be running my keyboard to much about anyone in pre season tbh
