Chris Bart - Williams. 49.

Both Wednesday players from the halcyon days of the early 1990s. Francis invited Cantona over but he went to Leeds instead who won the league. Wednesday came third. Not much imagination required to think what would have happed if he went to Wednesday :(

Think he offered Cantona a trial no ?
You can imagine the face Eric pulled if that's true. Probably joined Leeds because of it in fact.

I wouldn't dwell on it, you'd have found a way to finish fourth probably ;)

Plugged it into Google Images, and it actually is Jeff Lynne! According to this - https://www.mediastorehouse.co.uk/memory-lane-prints/mirror/1400to1499-01400/jeff-lynne-wedding-day-11th-april-1972-21874033.html?prodid=80405 - both he and his bride are big Birmingham City fans.

Pictured left to right are Trevor Francis, Dave Latchford (obscured behind the bride), George Smith, Ray Martin and Bob Latchford.

Great Player ~ I reckon he had already developed an ankle problem ( I think it was an ankle problem ) even before he signed for Forest ~ He didn't really totally live up to the highest levels expected of him after leaving Birmingham but did go on to do well in Italy / For England ~ I think that Ankle injury held him back a good bit from being the player he could have been ~ He looked an unbelievable prospect when playing for Birmingham as a young player.

RIP.

In some very successful TV series ~ The Man From Uncle ~ NCIS ~

I liked the show ~ The Invisible Man ~ Though that was not so successful.

A long and highly successful career ~ A lot of it in America.

Only 18 caps for a player of his ability ~ Ok, I know that we didn't play so many games back then but 18 caps for a player of Gerry Ryan's ability is very very low all the same, especially when you consider the number of caps players of very limited ability are getting these days.

RIP to Gerry Ryan.

Ditto,American sitcoms just don't do it for me,the reaction therefore way over my head but sad for anybody to go out a such a young age, money and fame wasn't all it was cracked up to be for this guy anyhow.

Big Bang Theory?

There's clips on YouTube without the laughter track and it's painful. The show seems to be "Here's a science thing" Hahahaha! *Viewer laughs too to show they got the joke, which has to be clever cos, you know, science is clever*

Never got into Friends back in the day either. Am thankful we don't have doctors on commission for prescribing addictive drugs here though (which I think is what happened Perry ultimately).
