The Cranberries were huge back in the day. They played Woodstock back in 94 I think which must have been one of the first times modern Woodstock was held. When I lived in Italy they always seemed to be doing a live set on Italian TV. Maybe they almost had a bigger profile abroad then at home, either way they had some great songs.

Not sure I'd agree with that. Always felt a lot of the lyrics were quite simplistic but not familar with all their songs.
But very untimely death. Certainly makes you stop and think.

Ray Wilson who was full back in the England World Cup winning team of 1966. I remember him in the Everton team of the same year for other nightmare reasons. Different days then. Of the 22 players who played in the FA Cup Final, 18 were English and 4 Scottish.
