Eugene Lambert (http://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/puppeteer-lambert-dies-447333.html), last night.
O'Brien (and the voice of Judge) from Wanderly Wagon, a childhood fave back in the day, even the slightly sinister 'thru the dolmen' bits!
Sad to hear this news, Wanderly Wagon brings back childhood memories. We were easily pleased back then.
We were! :)
Sad news alright though, the more so 'cos we grew up with the show I suppose, but he always seemed one of life's nice guys, both in real life and in character. RIP O'Brien!

Maybe he goes around killing them all?

Not personally but I know of them. Eugene Lambert now I wouldn't have known as Wanderly Wagon was after my time although I have heard of it.

Always wondered why people are bothered when celebritys they fancy aren't the same sexual orientation as them?Unless they actually think they have a chance with them ?

There's a lack of celebrity deaths at the moment. We're now mourning those who we fancy but swing the other way.

Yeah it's sad. It's amazing he wasn't in more high profile movies, other than the Lost Boys, considering the amount of classic teen movies in the 80's, The Goonies, Stand By Me, etc. His sidekick Corey Feldman, for example, seems to have been in a lot more.

and I well remember his commentary on the Rumble in the Jungle:
"Suddenly Ali looks very tired indeed. In fact Ali, at times now, looks as though he can barely lift his arms up . . . Oh, he's got him with a right hand! He's got him! Oh, you can't believe it. And I don't think Foreman's going to get up. He's trying to beat the count. And he's out! Oh my God, he's won the title back at 32! ”

Malcolm McLaren RIP
http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/44230000/jpg/_44230307_celeb_malcom_pa.jpg
Malcolm McLaren, the former manager of punk group the Sex Pistols, has died in New York, aged 64, his agent has said.
McLaren, the ex-partner of designer Vivienne Westwood, was believed to have been diagnosed with cancer a while ago.
He set up a clothes shop and label with Westwood on London's King's Road in the 1970s and was later a businessman and performer in his own right.
The couple had a son, Joseph Corre, the co-founder of lingerie shop Agent Provocateur.
