She was supposed to be anorexic, and did look very skinny recently:

Dan O'Bannon screenwriter got on the bandwagon of the Alien series. Even credited with Predator v. Alien in 1993 and again ten years later.
Those credits are for characters only, Harpo. He had no involvement with the films - like how Bob Kane has a writing credit on The Dark Knight even though he died ten years before it came out.

Kate McGarrigle . . . at age 63, from cancer. Kate was married to singer songwriter Loudon Wainright who was a frequent visitor to Cork, and is mother of singer song writer Rufus Wainright. Kate and her sister Anna were a brilliant singing duo in their own right. What a loss of a brilliant talent. May she rest in peace.

Legendary rugby commentator Bill McLaren (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_McLaren), aged 86.
Used to love listening to his commentary on the BBC on Saturday afternoons, lovely turn of phrase he had, some of the best ones here (http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-union/news-comment/classic-phrases-from-commentator-bill-mclaren-1545616.html).

He was simply the voice of rugby, I still get goosebumps listening to him on ESPN Classic, probably the best of them all.

"I hope to hell that when I do die somebody has the sense to just dump me in the river or something. Anything except sticking me in a goddam cemetary. People coming and putting a bunch of flowers on your stomach on Sunday, and all that crap. Who wants flowers when you're dead? Nobody."
