Tipptops, likening the forum to Nazi Germany was never going to lead to a long forum life, he joins the glorious ranks of the exterminated.
He's probably down there with Ruben Sosa right now. Wish I could say it's been a pleasure.
Ruben Sosa had style though.

I think I'll preserve Mr A's now-deleted comment in that thread as tipptops' obituary -
Hmmm.
Number of people gassed by the Nazis: Many million.
Number people gassed by foot.ie mods: Probably less than 100.
Number of peoples oppressed by the Nazis: Lots
Number of peoples oppressed by foot.ie: Shamrock Rovers
World Wars started by Nazis: 1
World Wars started by foot.ie 0 (Although the Saipan debate comes close, it was not started here)
I'm not sure your logic is holding up here.

Shocking. Not a massive fan but still find it very sad. RIP Stephen.
Any word on what actually happened?

Not a fan of Boyzone in the slightest, but its sad to see someone die at that age. RIP
At the courage awards in Britian recently, apparently he looked ill and that was only a week or two ago.

No time for boybands etc. but still a massive massive shock. His bandmates and family must be absolutely in bits.

I'd say most people (on this forum, at any rate) would be of the same opinion. Wouldn't have particularly concerned myself with anything he;s done but shocked at the death of a 33-year old public figure.
Also, I'm going to bend the thread rules slightly and include one of my favourite authors:

Aw no! Used to love him as an actor. The Equilizer was one of my favourite shows as a teen, particularly used to love when it was on late at night when would come in from clubbing and sit with tea and toast and watch it. RIP Ed.

That is terrible. Best character in Corrie by a mile. Loved her putdowns.
Here's a few.
To Deirdre and Ken: "Good looks are a curse Deirdre. You and Kenneth should count yourselves lucky."
On Liz McDonald: "Skirt no bigger than a belt, too much eyeliner, and roots as dark as her soul."
Deirdre: "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."
Blanche: "I think I'll go home then. "
R.I.P.
Shame about Blanche, genuinely one of the best comedic actors on British television this decade
RIP Blanche :(

Dan O'Bannon screenwriter got on the bandwagon of the Alien series. Even credited with Predator v. Alien in 1993 and again ten years later. He is also credited with genre-breaking work... like The Return of the Living Dead(1985) four years after Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead (1981).
