Hopefully Jackman park. A neutral venue would be the right call.
Anybody know how much does it cost to appeal a sending off( 2 yellows, same game) to the MFA.and when is the suspension started. :(

You get an automatic 1 game ban .. trust me dont appeal to mfa as you will lose they never go against refs.. need we ask what happened

Hibs7772 can you goway back into the limerick league threads to talk about them, youre in the clare thread here we dont give a continental what goes on in 1A or 1Z. *please add 'B' after pike .. tryin to make it sound better by sayin just Pike.....it was Pike B

Lay off legendstriker10, what harm is he doing posting here? It's an online forum he's as entitled to post as anybody, maybe those in Shannon and Killaloe will see the error in their ways and come back and make us stronger. With the referees situation ya wouldn't know, players might jump ship .

So would you welcome a return to the Clare league then hibs7772??

Well said fifty50 I think the Other fella wanna be a legendstriker is just a tad jealous.. there is a word I use for people like him but cant repeat it here.. he only ever comes on with negative comments.. hibbs7772 has probably played more football in clare than wanna be striker ever did..

ps hibs7772 I was only ball hopping bout standard in 1A. The top half of 1A would beat most clare premier teams..
Legendstriker10 sorry I forgot the "B" in pike B as clearly no Junior team in Ireland would beat Pike A 9-1!! wasn't trying to make anything sound better but i am trying to make this sound better when i say that you seem like a nice guy ...

Yeah fifty50 and Second i wouldn't be surprised if a few players did jump if there isn't going to be any football for a few months lads will get sick of it and I personally have never played in the Clare league so if i was to jump that would be a first for me:p

There would be no point appealing it......first yellow was for a late tackle and second yellow was for kicking the ball away. I believe the player will miss our next game which is against shannon olympic on sunday and that will be it. Cant see how he will get anymore than 1 game ban for this

Second

if player was sent off in a cup game he will miss next game in that comp which will be the final unfortunately

Thanks for that second. A bit of confusion last night around whether he d miss the next game or the cup final. Pity for the player in question, he has given great service to the club over the years.

dont think its possible to appeal a red card when its 2 yellows. 1 game ban served in next round of the competition if team progress, next domestic game if team get knocked out

How can you appeal any red card, even if its a straight red what are they going to do, rewatch the video replay?

For any refs that might be on this, if you are in charge of a match this weekend and this is under your fixture its prob best for everyone to stick by it.

Note: In event of a draw 10 mins each way extra time and penalties if necessary.

First yellow was a good foul :), and second one was for stupidity on my part for kicking the ball away.
But the question I asked was how much is it to appeal. I read it is €250. Seems a bit steep. That alone would put you off appealing.
Even though its a different Munster comp can it carry over to the other one.i know in a previous thread you explain that it can't but is that definitely the case. I'm clutching at straws here. Thanks for the info previously.

yeah usually steep fees to appeal in fai & munster , I think rule applies if sent of in cup competition you miss next game in the same competition it only carries over if you were knocked out of cup ? but worth a phone call / letter from your secetary to the munster f.a. , I Would say it a waste of money & time to try and appeal on sending off based on your two yellows above ,

nononsense

Wolverine, unfortunately there is no way out for you. An automatic suspension cannot be appealed.

No, there won't be a replay. Had NCFC appealed it would've been a nailed on replay but as said on here last week the club voted not to appeal it.

I rang the MFA today to see could I appeal the second yellow and was given a flat,NO.so that clears that up.from the conversation I had with Gerald Delaney no yellows or red can be appealed no matter what the circumstance is.MFA ruling.:(

Newmarket 2 Tage 0

Shannon olympic had a penalty saved by john healy in the last minute to make it 2-2 before we counter attacked up the field to make it 3-1. That leaves Avenue, Newmarket and Ennistymon as the 3 teams who are into the last 32 from Clare section.

Ennis town 0-0 bridge united. Bridge claims for a blatant peon waved away, difference between winning and drawing, bridge keeper lucky too tho handled the ball outside the box when there looked to be no danger.. Overall everything evened itself out, draw was the right result..

boys whats goin on at all above in HQ?? what is michael lydon playing at??? in our first league game we played ennistymon B at home..........few cup games after that and then the weekend just gone we were fixtured in to play ennistymon B away in our SECOND (yes 2nd) league game!!!!!! now come on that is a complete joke a real mess. we did not want to play ennistymon in our first 2 games in the league by any stretch of the imagination!! would i be correct in saying that there is in fact a rule that you cannot play the same team twice in the opening part of the fixtures until you have played every other or most teams in your league already? not to mind playin them back to back in the very first TWO games!!! rules are rules and they are there to be upheld and abided by not just discarded or bent or twisted or made up whenever it suits. i mean come on!!! is there an avenue that the club could go down to appeal this result? a laughing stock really.... madness from the fixtures guy. one word - rules, how can you play the same team twice in ur first 2 games. logic?? zero here anyway

Bit strange you only want to appeal result after only drawing 1-1 maybe ennistymon should appeal the first game were you beat them 6-0 :D .. fixtures are posted approx 1 week in advance of game so why did club not object before game was played .. do agree with you it is madness that you can get fixtures to play the same team home and away for first two league games off the season but thats what you get when ye let clubs vote in the same committe members year after year

This comment smacks of sheer ignorance. A pointless exercise to you perhaps but a useful one I'd imagine to people looking to play v the Desmond league. By gaa heads who are u referring to? Is it Hayes and Kelly who have been involved since the squad met in August, played huge parts in win against Limk and are two of the best soccer players in this county or is it Daniels and hickey? Last years captain and also one of the best strikers around with league of Ireland experience. If you were involved in the squad or even if u were at some of the other "pointless exercises" as you refer to it, you would see that "the lads that have kept it goin" are still as important as your so called "gaa heads". There is a serious strong panel of great variety that will hopefully challenge in the latter stages.

Just heard the Munster Council have fixed the Munster Champions Cup final on in Clonmel Celtics home grounds....not a very fair thing to do I would say. We all have a fair idea of who they would like to win the competition now. Last years final was neutral, same should have applied here.

22/11/2013, 4:12 PM
typical munster council keeping the supposed strong leagues happy and playing the game at home when it should be at a neutral venue at least, shows what they think of clare.no surprise but itll be sweeter if it can be won away from home anyway

I doubt they jus decided to give clonmel celtic home advantage im sure they tossed for it or somethin but your right any final should be a neutral venue should be a close game.

I've read we are down to play clonmel at their home ground and that tipp officials have been appointed. They could have given neutral officials at least for the final.

Neutral referees and neutral venue for last years final. Pike and St Brendan's in clounreask with Desmond officials

sounds like avenue are gettin a raw deal here

Apparently it was first out of the hat this year , much as avenue might like to believe there is no conspiracy , so my advice is stop moaning and go down to clonmel and bring back the cup.

The issue is that the draw was just done. No representive was notified this was occuring. No notice that it was changing from previous years. I think the players dnt mind playing Clonmel on their home pitch, they would like neutral officials tho.

mastermind1
27/11/2013, 8:13 AM
Players definitely dont mind going to clonmel but in the interest of fairness neutral refs should be appointed. Anyway before then, a big game for Oscar traynors this saturday at 4pm. A few injury concerns for Liam to deal with, david o grady, rhys phillips and darren cullinan all in danger of missing out.
