The bridge to limerick only takes a few mins, does Darren drive? If not then maybe that influenced his decision. He will do very well in there but will be a massive loss for us here in the Clare league. The very best of luck to him, a cracking player

Did anyone see the government sports grants, nice sums of money for some soccer clubs can only be good for further development of facilities at these clubs. Although baffled by Park Rangers AFC getting 7,000 thought they were no longer in existence!

The premier clubs are the clubs mostly affected by oscar traynor, fai and munster junior cup fixtures as was seen this season , and it was also felt that the lower divisions might benefit by starting with the league cup as they mightn't be as organised as the premier sides.

Premier league starts august 23/24, other divisions start on same date with league cup, if your form is with the cdsl on Friday , you can play on Saturday as far as i know.

Carew got to the fai quarter final last season beaten by st michaels who won it out. The season before they got to the semi final beaten by sheriff who won it out. How did the bridge and olympic get on? Not trying to put down those teams but carew are a far superior team. I don't know anyone who would be surprised they beat olympic 6-1...

not a very good test if hammered 6-1 ?? and to make it worse they went in with under strenght team and no goalkeepers :confused:
