Another brilliant free kick from Armenia that nearly goes in. Glad we don't have to play Armenia away again!

Should have been 3-1. What is the story with the Slovakia wall. Come on Armenia. 2 slovakian subs coing on. Who went off injured there for Slovakia. That looks like a bad injury. Hamstring possibly.

Lawrence needs to watch a few clips of the Slovakian wall during this game. My advice would be hit it hard and straight at them.

Credit to Armenia - they have some really good players. Makes Killer Kilbane's achievement all the more remarkable.

Armenia are playing some lovely stuff. Slovakia have a dodgier LB than us.

The Slovak keeper was lucky there. Easily could have mistimed that and then off. Ooh What a ****ign chance. How did he miss that.

Charlie Darwin

How did they not make it 3? This Mucha character looks like he'll be important on Tuesday.

My stream froze just as the Armenian was about to strike for goal inside the box.
Looks like he missed.

Seriously! Armenians are threading passes for fun through the middle that never came close to happening against us.

Armenia look dangerous on the counter and Slovakia only have 3 at the back.

Both teams looking tired at this stage. Hope Armenia can hang on (even though they've looked comfortable).

88 mins gone. he should have been sent off for that blatant block. Would have been a second yellow.

Charlie Darwin

Anybody know what the 6 minutes of added on time were for? It was like the ref was toying with Slovakia too.

Great result, now let's capitalise on it tonight :D

Puts into perspective our 1-0 win out in Armenia. And Russia have still to play there as well. Lovely.

Always good that the smaller teams remain interested, particularly when we have already beaten them. They certainly will still have plenty to play for by the time Russia visit them in March.

Haven't read the thread so sorry if mentioned already, but Skrtel is out of Tuesday's match after a booking today

Yep, booked against Macedonia: http://en.uefa.com/uefaeuro2012/matches/season=2012/live/day=3/session=1/match=2002224/matchcenterlight/index.html

Stoch doesn't look like he'll recover and Vittek already ruled out. We have a real chance going over there!

geysir

We have a real chance to jump out in front, but it won't be handed to us.
First Russia to play then Slovakia who will be keen to get that result out of their heads.

Offsets their win in Moscow beautifully from our point of view. Our main rivals each having had a bad blow already.

Now up to us to stay out of that particular club.
