i just saw tv jofspring.it said they were away to sligo rovers.thats a great draw.one of the better teams in league of ireland at the minute

Ya your right, the way they where calling it when I wasn't looking I thought they said Pike vs Bohs but it was actually the next fixture coming up.

Sligo are going through a bad patch at the moment so if they keep that up Pike may get a scalp. Very tough team though that like to play football. Current FAI Champions too. Could possibly be looking at FAI Junior Cup Champions vs FAI Senior Cup Champions.

do they honestly think that by approaching players that players will not tell someone and than it goes to the next and so on.ive seen the txts myself sent to a lad from a certain manager and they make for good reading.

i'm sure they know people will find out as young lads will always have a chat about stuff like this among themselves, as for the managers sending the texts i'm sure they are just trying to get in ahead of other managers, thats the way it is unfortunately

Pike will run a bus I'm sure,and 35% would be right,pike have a good few ex loi players who I'm sure will be looking forward to it,I'm sure they will stay overnight so if it's on of a Saturday night,it would be all hours in they getting home otherwise.

BAlla 2 carew park 1 Steven grant for carew one up at half time and in truth it should of been 4 some poor finishing 6yrds out in the middle of the goal twice. 2nd half we did not turn up balla levelled 75mins scored winner on 86mins. If YOu don't take your chances that's what can happen more so again good teams like balla.

Star 2-2 Aisling

Aisling went 1 up on 30mins through Smalle, only for Kevin Barry to equalize right on half time with a well taken free kick.
Aisling had the better of the first half.
K Barry again scored to put Star 2-1 up (and to be fair it looked offside) after Aisling had a man sent off for a tackle from behind, but Aisling never gave up and with a minute to go got the equalizer.
Star had the better of the 2nd half and could have scored 3 or 4 others.

Overall, I think a draw was a fair result for both teams.

agree a ref like that would want to make you pack in playing crazy stuff if there was anything he could have done to disallow equaliser he would have
how the 2 barrys wernt sent off is beyond me and for good measure allows a goal which was a mile offside junior football dosent need refs like that

Aisling should have had their cenrte half sent off in the first half for a deliberate hand ball, or did you forget that incident

The same player dived in the box, pathetic effort really but without even as much as a caution by the ref. same player is 10 yards offside, stops thinking he is but is waved on by ref to his astonishment and puts star ahead. ref said no 3 kept him on, NO 3 was the player 10 yards in front of him???? As for John barry, how he did not see the line for his pathetic display is beyond everyone watching. Standing over a player pushing him on the ground, roaring you cu-t and then knealing on his head while he is on the ground and not even getting a caution. Brave of you to try to shed some bit of respectability from a star perspective but please dont try defend what went on yesterday evening.

Lads i has no idea if any players have been approached by our managment team... i dont get involved in that side of it....just cut the grass and try and keep the club running smoothly

at least one manager rang the kilmallock manager first to say he was going to have a chat with one of his players which i think was very fair.

Even before kick off we would have hoped for the win, and when the opposition score in the last minute to equalize, it definately doesnt feel like a good point.

Aisling would have been the happier of the 2 teams with a point considering they were down to 10 men and scored in the last minute,

That said, we'll be going all out to win our last 2 games (A) v Shannon & (H) v Kilmallock and if that happens the very least we'll get is a relegation play-off.

Theres no point in worrying about the teams around us if we can't do our own job right!!!!!!!!

Sorry lads just getting to post this now but what is going on down in the Boro, i left it after an hour last night, it was terrible to watch a team with great tradition look so disinterested and in all truth they were one of the poorest boro teams i have seen in a long timestop mick u played the whole game stop talking rubbish..Its very easy for you to knock the boro when they are missing Pa Barry Jason Hughes Shane Clarke and Shane Waters 4 of thier best players and to make it worse the fixture sec knew 3 of these players were missing and rang his friend Mr considine to ask him does he want to play us or shannon town cause thats who pike were ment to play...It must be great having friends in the ldmc

But like I said in a previous post, theres no point in us worrying about what other teams around us may or may not do if we can't do our own job...............we'll go all out for 2 wins and we'll see where it takes us.
