its true denis has family commitments he has done a very good job for carew and has left them in very good condition. everyone of the players nominated albert for the job. regardless what some people might think of albert he was a top top player in this town for years in his day he knows the game inside out his knowledge of the game is excellent. i wish him all the best in his first year of managment.

No john is staying he doesnt want to play league of ireland, i heard bobby ryan , sean maher is signing for the coming season.

both good signings if true.maher was an excellent premier division loi player.im sure if fit he will do a job for pike.would he not be dublin based though?a bit of a trek for junior football would anybody agree?was he not in dublin most of his loi career?

Maher is crippled with injuries lads but if he can mange to stay fit would be an unreal signing. He lives in Dublin as far as i know will probably travel down with Bobby.

And of the people that have signed for Athlone id only see Wayne Colbert as a loss to Limerick.

Would have loved to have seen Pa Mullins sign for Limerick.

Sean maher will be working full time in limerick bobby looking to move back, i think sean is 35 or 35 would be great to see him play Oscar Trainer next year and push for the trophy players are there.
