GLEN CROWE has turned down a move to Romania, SunSport has learned.
Crowe, 31, was wanted by an unnamed top-flight club in the country but has rejected the chance to pursue his career abroad.
Romanian's looking to import gypsy, shocker!

BOHEMIANS are waiting for FAI approval to announce their new signings.
Bohs had a transfer embargo imposed earlier in the year for falling foul of the Salary Cost Protocol and it has yet to be formally lifted.
Boss Pat Fenlon has agreed deals for keepers Barry Murphy and Chris O'Connor to join from Shamrock Rovers and Bray Wanderers respectively.
The defending champions will also land Raffaele Cretaro ahead of Rovers if the striker rebuffs a late bid from Sligo Rovers to hang on to his services.
Owen Heary, Brian Shelley, Conor Powell, Gary Deegan, Paul Keegan and Glenn Cronin have all agreed to re-sign for the Phibsborough outfit who are still in talks with Joseph Ndo.
All of those deals will be rubber-stamped once Bohs' accounts for this year and vastly-reduced budget for next year are approved

The twice-capped striker is a free agent after he was released by Bohemians and has been linked to newly-promoted Sporting Fingal.
Fingal, meanwhile, are closing in on the signing of out-of-contract defender Gavin Peers.
Peers, 24, was a member of the Sligo Rovers team defeated by Fingal in the FAI Ford Cup final.
Dont see him joining Fingal, but i'll stand to be proven wrong. IMO hes our most important player, a good, strong, solid and even goalscoring defender. If he stays then we can hardly worry about our defence bar who partners him.

Enda could be a smashing player. He was a breath of fresh air last year.
Still made tons of mistakes but his defending should improve with time.

Aaron Shanahan has been mentioned aswell but if Delany stays he'd only be cover.
I am not surprised that Shanahan has bein linked he was one of our best players for the last few games of last season.. he will be much missed...:(

Getting that checked out as I think he might have taken a year out and played junior or possibly GAA for a season.

He was definitely playing for Bohs in 2006, I think he was with Pats for a couple of seasons before that spell with Bohs. He must have signed for Glenavon in 06 or 07 because he joined Sporting Franchise when they were formed in 2008, he rarely played for them seemingly struggling with injuries and vanished midway that season

I'm certain with Gill on board as Keely's assistant he'll be dragging many more former Dundalk players like Shanahan to Shels

Yeh, big loss. A few more might follow. UCD's (very) limited budget will mean that they'll lose players. But they are used to the constant turnover, in fairness they won the first div with a new team. Reckon they will find it hard to stay up. They won't be able to bring any new players in, apart from the scholarship scheme I suspect.
Gary McCabe is Sligo bound.
