You reckon? I'd have him back at the Bowl. Single handedly nearly kept us off the bottom in 2008, and was up for PFAI (or SWAI) keeper of the year.

Though other fans seem to have different opinions of him.
I have a feeling he may be one of those keepers who's great when he's kept busy, but his concentration isn't quite good enough for a team looking to win the league. That theory's purely to explain his reputation though. I'd also have him back without hesitation. I reckon he's a good signing for Dundalk.

Rumour down in sligo that seamie coleman is going to bohs on loan for 6 months....

heard nothing about this in Dublin would be very surprised unless Powell was going (again would be news to me). Couple of options already at right full so dont see us looking at that position. He looked good for Everton and expect he would be pushing on for starting X1 at Goodison.

I thought Gregg was quite poor and seemed somewhat of a dud in 2007 when he was rotating regularly with Quigley in 2007. I seem to recall him playing poorly in a League Cup semi in the Brandywell. I thought he was excellent in 2008 though. Commanding, caught crosses well and was a brilliant shot stopper. Can't remember about his kicking and distribution but I don't recall it being bad. I'd gladly have him back at the Bowl too.

Yeah he was connected with us before xmas and was hoping we could nick him, always admired him, thought he was decent whenever I saw him play, very attacking, him and cawley would be decent in central midfield, Martyn going forward and Cawlay always app passing tha ball backwards!!:D

It started off as wishful thinking from some supporters of a certain FD club on boards.ie because we still hadn't come to an agreement with the revenue for the coming season, but that has been sorted.

I find it hard to believe that he would be loaned back to a LOI side. Surely there would be a string of premiership and championship sides that would more then willing to take him on loan. I think it would be a bad move for him personally.

agreed - it makes no sense for Everton or Coleman on any level. The season here doesnt start until close to the end of the premiership. Moyes'll want him out and playing somewhere else from january.

If he is loaned, it wont be to Bohs or any LOI club.

In any case, people are reading too much into that article. Moyes said that ideally he'd like to send him on loan, but can't due to their persistent injuries.

A loan back to the LOI would make no sense too.

Sorry, this was an incorrect post. It should have been:

6 or 7 new names by tuesday and another 10 names by saturday.

Sounds strange assembling a squad in just a few days? Almost like he had a lot of these players ready to join before he even got the job?

I'm thinking maybe we could base ourselves in Oriel and wear black & white and Dundalk could base themselves in Terryland and play in maroon...
