sorry mate didnt read that, thanks
Heard that Bohs and Dundee have agreed a compensation package and Fenlon is on his way. Bohs have also already been in talks with Paul Cook as a possible successor.
Pretty reliable source told me this, but as yet still a rumour so I posted it here.

UCD have resigned Evan McMillan, Ciarán Nangle, Keith Ward and Ciarán Kilduff, all of whom (bar Nango I think) were on the PFAI free transfer list. We hope to get Greg Bolger, Billy Brennan and Brian Shortall signed soon. That'll mean our squad will be the same as last year minus John Reilly, Ronan Finn and Timmy Purcell.

Ronan is a huge loss anyone in the squad last year to step up or will ye have to try sign a replacement?

Paul Corry'll step up. He still has a text on his phone from Owen Coyle inviting him back to Burnley after impressing there. I'd rather the two of them though. We won all nine games the two of them played the full 90 minutes in, I think. We were beating Waterford till Corry came off injured at half time, and he was subbed off against Shels when we drew in Tolka.

O'Neill.
personally, i dont envy the board AT ALL. The next appointment is crucial and the next manager will have big boots to fill.
edit: i have my own thoughts on what we should do next but i dont think here is the right place to air them as Im sure it would be used against me in the future.

O'Neill, that would be a serious coup!
Out of interest what have you against Cook? I have my reservations as well but as LoI managers go he has to be one of the best.

a couple of things about Cook.
1) we got one schyster from Sligo already and some of the rumours about Cook and his behaviour are a bit off putting for me.
2) I dont want to fall out with the Sligo fans on here... i love you guys. :D ;)
O'Neill would be some coup alright ;)

haha, i would defo have roddy and connor as pats manager than kenna again. he couldnt see what the fans were watching everyweek. shocking. no enthusiasm on the sideline, leaning against the dugout with his arms folded.
ah harps arent that bad mate, i wouldnt mind a trip up that way next season in the cup or something, once there isnt gravel on the pitch ;)

I'm afraid your sources are wrong. I was talking to him today and he still hasn't signed.
Purcell and Dempsey are after signing for Darlington
Darlington boss Steve Staunton today boosted his squad with a double signing.
The Quakers have signed Irish duo Gary Dempsey and Tadhg Purcell from the League of Ireland.
Dempsey, 28, is an experienced midfielder who has played more than 200 games in Ireland as well as for Aberdeen and Dunfermline in Scotland, and spent the last two years with St Patrick's.
Purcell is a striker who can also play on the right wing and has spent the last four years with Shamrock Rovers. The 24-year-old played against Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid in a pre-season friendly last summer.
Staunton said: "Tadhg is a strong boy. He's a grafter and a finisher, knows the game and is a good talker, and that's always good to have up front.
"Gary brings more experience. He's played in Scotland and has been around a bit and he's a good, all-round midfielder. He can play, he puts his foot in and he knows the game.
"We're relying on players to come in and do the job straight away. We're hoping that they can, but the good things is they're our own players so there'll be no swapping and changing."
Staunton is also hoping to tie up the signing of former Darlington midfielder Clark Keltie next week. The 26-year-old left the Arena in 2008, joining Rochdale, and has spent parts of this season on loan with Chester City and Gateshead.
