Heard nothing official about the bug going around. If Limerick are experimenting tonight at most it will be maybe 2 or 3 different names on the team sheet. Bobby Tier, Brian Collopy maybe two names. Certainly won't be whole changes (Confirmation of bug going around pending :D)

Dundalk will be up for it, Gill's a good man and manager and I think they will win easily....:ball:

Could this be one of those psychological things to unsettle dundalk? In all fairness I think I'll take this with a pinch of salt until the starting 11 is announced.

Indeed, remember Philly Hughes down in Terryland 2 years back not making the first XI

had a good bet on limerick at 7/1 tonight with william hills - has to be value in that with dundalks penchant for choking and limericks recent good form

According to Dundalk Fm Limerick are playing all the good football and look far better than Dundalk in the first half, making Dundalk do all the chasing. 0-0 as it stands.

ya it is. www.dundalkfm.ie if your interested in listening to it. supposedly Limerick could have gone 0-2 up.

Worth tuning in for the commentary on dundalk fm. Such impartial observations as for example "ah for God's sake ref", "we're all over them now" etc. It's like the EL's own Fanzone feature. Funny though.

ya the commetating is funny and some of the txts in too. one minute they are full of praise for dundalk and how they are coming back into and the next thing they are calling them useless ha. They've had loads of chances in the last ten minutes don't know how they haven't converted any of them. Mulvenna seems to have had an impact.

I think the best way for a team to build confidence for the following season is to have a great end to the season.
What better way for a team not challenging for the title to finish the league by helping to decide where that title goes.

Cheers Limerick

Lamper.sffc
30/10/2008, 9:15 PM
Not yet.
Keep the head up. We might have something to say about that. waterford and Limerick too. Shels have to face the best teams in the league other than the top two. Do you really think they wont drop points.

Black and White
30/10/2008, 10:06 PM
Well at the moment theyre scabing wins here and there!!!and with a manager who drops the player(paul smyth) who scores the winner against waterford with a minute to go completely from the squad....then yeah...it is over!!

Fair play to Kerley, he's really got Limerick going this second half of the season. They try to play football too which can be a rarity in this division.

Think you'll put in a challenge next year? Would love to see Limerick in the Premier. Another proper away trip!

I might possibly die of coronary related issues before the season is over. And at the ripe old age of 23 :) Most exciting season I've ever witnessed. Probably due to what's at stake. I'll be a nervous wreck tomorrow now

anyone know if its worth a few bob on kildare at home to waterford tonight at 4 to 1. dont know much about kildare but waterford are shocking at the moment . they lost at home to dundalk and lost 5 0 away to lims 2 weeks ago. the only thing i know about kildare is that tony cousins taking over as manager during the week. usually the players will raise their game for a new manager. the players may be useless though.

have not backed it yet but would like opinions

The Kildare players are awful. They'd be doing well to get a draw. Cousins is a defensive manager so it's possible they'll draw, unlikely to win.

Congratulations Shelbourne on your impending League victory.

Congratulations Limerick. We where beaten by a bunch of kids. Keep that team and you'll go far next season. Its a pity you couldn't perform in the opening stages of the season because you would be winners.
