think the boro made a mistake with daithi they are poor since shane left no drive they will win nothing this year with him as manager:D couple of boro lads even know cant wait till hes gone

He took over the team a week before the season started. Can you not give the man a chance? Boro had a bad start alright and probably won't win anything but if he can hang on to the players he has he should be ok.

Any team would find it hard to cope with out Alan Barry, Barry Culhane, Alan Carroll. Plus Fitzsimons is only back now.

imagine most boro lads dont give a rats ass what you think!!!!... your are entitlted too your opinion ......what is you pathalogical dislike of janesboro about...???? the majority of people on this forum probably dislike people and other clubs but try to keep their contributions about football and post in an objective manner.

could you pm me the alledged boro players and i will confirm you story..??

Not that poor, Balla have only drawn one game and won the rest and that was to with the Boro. Any team even the mighty Pike would struggle losing all those players. Having watched them against Balla they certainly showed plenty of determination and drive, they may not win anything but will take points off planty of teams. I think the manager deserves time to get things right, it couldn't have been easy taking over as he did.

I think and i maybe wrong , Alan is 31. He has 2 very young children and works long hours. i think that is what has retired him from the game... He could do a super job for our high flying B-Team...The 2 O'keeffee brothers up front...Big Duncan and Alan..That would be a sight.

Haven't seen barry in a while. I dont see regional playing either. was told that he signed for regional. B conway played 11 seasons with boro and we would wish him only well in whatever or whomever he plays with.....what has that got to do with being a boro man... can you name the teams that all of your previous players now play with..????

Then say that in posts as well as Balbec77, there is 90mins in a game many factors determine results.
Please dont target Refs on here when match reporting or i will respond... getting sick of hearing it.
The difference is the top teams in the league dont give the oppourtunity for a bad decision to cost them the game by playing better consistently week in week out :ball:
I know your a good footballing side but did you expect to come in and walk preimer easily, if i was being honest i think you's came in a year or two earlier than your club planned. But you could have played badly last year and still coast 1a as the standard wasn't great. ( I'm Glad to see 1A standard is back to a higher standard this year though )

well lads bobby gregg wanted out of the boro couple of weeks back cited new manager as the reason he even approched a prem team to sign then changed hes mind leather will know more plus ado,danny+fellow of the ryans were not happy with hanlon going dont really know how there getting on with daithi boro could have got a better man to take over than him they did ask otheres before him thou

I think he is asking did the Boro ask anyone before Daithi. Either way it's none of his business. Where do you get all this info only 1? If these lads are not happy how come they play everyweek? And on Bobby Gregg i was told he was not happy with the numbers turning up for training. Nothing to do with the manager. But then again i have as much involvment with the Boro as you have. None. So we're only going on hear say. Why don't you stick to talking about your club. You might actually know something about them.

Lads,in fairness can we give all this pike and boro talk a rest.Its unreal,ye'd swear it was the english premiership.Everyone who plays premier football in limerick might not be a superstar but all they can do is try their best.

when we play bad i would be first on here and say it straight up. so when a refs decision has a big reflection on the out come of the game its a sickener

Just wondering if ye know for certain of any players that have transferred to another club/s in the last week or so, seeing as now the transfer window is shut for the next 8.5 weeks , until December 01st.....

Corbally signed Adrian Dughig the goalkeeper from Fairview yesterday... should add some good competition for JJ Hartigan.
