regarding the whole pa barry situation up in pike,i was told that he isnt playing well for them, and hasnt really settled in.i personally dont think he will be up there beyond christmas.can you see him going back to star at some stage over the season abbeyvale?

lads the guy is playing well,i was one of the few who doubted pa,s ability but have to admit i was wrong,he,s a class act and i hope he sticks round and gets fair crack

i just might be

I heard that Eddie was looking to go back to the boro last saturday night so it's obviously going areound town. If it's true can you tell me why ye would want him. If he can't get on the Pike team does that make him good enough for the boro.

He's started all pre-season game for them i think and the first two league matches I didnt see him play in the league games but thought he was one of their best against Lim and UCD.

Thats all yer goals scored by clarke so far thats a bad sign for any team hoping to challenge for the league on that performance tonight ye wont, ye were very slow at the back too

not all the goals,he didn't play against corbally,he has 5 in 3,agreed in that you can't rely on one player to score all the goals, and they're not playing like league contenders, but are missing alot through injuries

No Sure about the last sending off for Granville but the other 3 were second yellow, 1 for a bad challenge, 2 for desent and one for kicking the ball away.
They played Regional on the small schoolboy pitch and the grass was quite high making it very hard to play any ball.Regional did not play very well and their keeper made a big mistake to allow Granville score however Regional carrued on till the very end to score the winner in injury time.

No real info was talking to a friend who was up at it, said that Granville doing stupid things like kicking the ball away with a few bad tackles thrown in.
Under the new directives from the LDMC about clubs and players being sent off I would reckon Granville could be in a bit of bother.

Lads, has anyone any proper info on how the matches went last night as it just seems like the Daithi and Shane show on this site with both receiving non stop abuse! It's only a game of local football at the end of the day.

Balla seem to be very strong again this year! How did that game go last night and are Fairview as good as what we are being told!

Boro will be disappointed with a point against Wembley.Shane Clarke looks like he is scoring for fun.Would have been some partnership with Alan Barry.

Spot on.

On a side note was at the Balla and Fairview game - thought Fairview lacked any shape and why they continually pumped the ball in the air down to Thomas Daly ill never know - food and drink to him.

Was also at the game and very surprised with Fairviews lack of imagination and football. They just kept at the same tactic all game, with the long ball which Daly dealt with every time. They had no idea or plan B, when it was obvious to everyone what they were trying wasn't working. Dunphy and Daly were excellent as the two centre halfs and Balla were well worth the win. The View wont win much going on that performance.

pike played very well today corbally will really find it hard to stay up this year unless they can add some more players. mitchell, mullins and o shea played very well for pike today. ref was very poor should of sent a corbally player off for a shocking tackle on the pike full back and he also gave corbally a peno for nothing at all. on another note heard dave wall was leaving pike can anyone confirm this ?????

Davy Wall was there and togged out today, only back training recently. Sniffer should be back involved with the 1st team soon enough. And then Alan Barry was up training in Pike on Thursday. Once it hit 4-0 for Pike the ref called every Offside that was questioned. Could and probably should have been more, Corbally didn't even have a Sub that I could see. Doesn't bode well for this early in the season.
