Well they're playing for Pike at the moment but not for long id suspect they both played the weekend for them and would be a big threat to the others up in the view. Two talented young players that I cant see sitting on the bench all season.

Thats about 24 Fairview have roughly signed so...Come on lads common sense has to be applied in there somewhere..

i'm from clonmel but i just want to ask some opinions (not cause an arguement) but who is the stronger side this season in limerick pike or fairview? i heard fairview have resigned the likes of ross cosgrave and colm heffernan and buckley and have 3 or 4 left from those fai winning teams from a few years back.

I have seen both sides play so far this year and I would say Fairview have the better side.

smackers is a decent keeper, but would pike be happy havin just bennis up there or is there another keeper with em?

if he played sunday he'd be cup tied in the FAI now, but would be a good signing for fairview. Can't see pike leaving him go easily. Good keepers are a rare thing these days. Why would stewart go back to pike doesn't make sense and I would doubt if its true, they've 5 center forwards up there now.

so is mcgarry considered a left back in pike circles now? He wont stand for that! There may be trouble ahead...

Top 5 are already wel clear of the rest, boro dont look a patch on the team a few years back, crew park could go down, as for corbally, there a joke of a club, stay up last year after balla let them beat them, and they wont win a game all season.

league over for boro allready between top 4 :ball:i agree corbally ajoke

IMO, the Prem league is split into 3 mini leagues.

The top 5 (Anyone from Pike, Balla, View, Regional or Aisling could win the league)
The middle 2 (Boro & Wembley, wont win the league but wont get relegated)
The bottom 5 (Corbally, Dromore, Kilmallock, Carew & Granville all fighting relegation)

The only thing that will save Carew this season, is that there are at least 2 worse teams than them, below them.

corbally aint that bad, had 4 tough games to start the season and in fairness they gave aisling and balla decent games, judge them on when they play the teams around them!! but def agree that they'll struggle if they dont start to score goals. carew seem to be fallin apart, did they lose players back to hill celtic?

your dead right on the 3 tiers to the league, it makes it interesting if nothing else!!!

Corbally have played Balla, Pike, Aishling and the Boro and have yet to play any of the surrounding teams at the bottom. We'll see what happens when they play the Dromore, Kilmallock and Carews of this league. There's the staying up right there.

the games between the bottom 5 mentioned will obviously decide who stays up or goes down. I think teams will find it hard out in Kilmallock which will see them get enough points to survive, Carew still have enough good players to be safe.

dont think standard that bad down there its just that most of the best players in limerick are playing in the top six teams.some decent players in bottom six too its just they probably havnt got enough decent players to compete with top six.

I'd say 12 points will be the safety mark this year, as for all the hard work and training the boro have done pre season it hasnt made much difference

i agree it'll be about that many for safety, wouldnt hazard a guess as to who'll be relegated as the 5 listed above are all as poor as ecah other and it'll all depend on who can take the most points off each other, wouldn't put wembley too far ahead of those teams though and a bad run and they could find themselves bang in the middle of a relegation fight too!!
