for me the most loyal players in town would have to be colm enright and albert slattery, and in fairness most of the balla stalwarts e.g colla, daly, dunphy and spud.
How long is Colm playing with Pike?????

The pressure is always on managers of the so called top teams when their respective teams don't begin the season well.Alan Barry,Alan Carroll,Nicky Carroll and Ado FitzSimmons would be big losses to any team. The team that won the league 2 years ago seems to be decimated now so it's understandable that Daithi will have things tough at the moment.

The usual crap from people not in the know. Christy O'Neill went back to the dines because of changes in his personal circumstances. I spoke to the player and he explained that he loved playing with the boro but that he would be unable to put the effort in that he thought would be required and that it would be unfair on the other players if he couldn'y give the same. Wish him well,a good bloke and hopefully he will enjoys his football back with the dines..A.Fitz is injured and hopefully will be back playing soon.N.Carroll informed the manager that he is off to Aus in a few weeks, A.Carroll went to Aus 2 weeks ago. Club Cant fault the teams and staff's efforts so far and with a little bit of luck results will improve.

in fairness to corbally they have played the top 4 teams
seen corbally against aisling last thurs. not a bad side but findin it hard to score goals. it'll be interestin to see how they get on thurs against carew!, wasnt too impressed with aisling against em but then they had a fantastic result against boro!!

restarted last season with u7 & u/8's. hope to push on this season
after being out of schoolboy football fot a few years you have to start at the bottom and work up.
youths restarted last season also and have started well this season (4 wins out of 4) credit due to all involved in both the s'boys and youths...

I'd say games are doubtful to go ahead again tonite and possibly Thursday with all the rainfall. Forecast is bad again Tomorrow with a slight improvement on Thursday. I see its FAI games on Sunday.

Sound. I'm new to this
Have to agree with soccer has gone a funny old way with players moving clubs.
It now means you have two leagues in the premier.
Balla, pike, fairview, aisling, regional and boro in league 1
wembley, kilmallock, dromore, corbally.carew and granville in league 2.
Not sure there is much that can be done about that tho. Maybe play each team once then split the league in two. Top 6 and bottom 6 like they used do in Scotland a few years ago. That could give every team something to play. Then if you play the other 5 teams in your group twice you play 21 games a season. That's probably not even a runner but it could stop teams rolling over towards the end of the season.
You're perfectly allowed.We'l agree to disagree.Im a lover not a fighter.
Fair enough

Are you serious there are gulfs in class in every league thats the way it is! You want to play mini-leagues within leagues...get a grip!

Exactly. Its junior soccer and the whole point in playing premier is to play against the best teams in the league.1 game against the top and then its twice against the so called smaller teams.Playing against all the big teams should up your game regardless of whether there's anything to play for or not.
