is he right back? if so it would be useful as Dunphy could be used more in midfield.

He was a left full the last time he was there but Im sure he could play right. He was definitly one of the best full backs in Limerick the last time he played with Balla.

How many years ago was that though and does anyone know how old he is??

no pa moloney+j bolye have they left ye? how did ye get on

Pa Moloney played first half...J boyle on hols I was told...1 all Pike took the lead in the first half UCD scored with a peno in the 2nd half...the game itself wasn't bad...what really impressed was Pike kept the ball on the ground (at last)..I think Conny + Casey will have to work hard to keep this side together.

O' Hanlon is the new Granville manager, already he is trying to prize a few players from the Boro, apparently a few of the ex Corbally lads might be joining him after they play against Corbally this weekend for the Boro - just what I heard.

That UCD team last night was an under 18 side, part of the Mullins deal, Pike pay for Mullins they get a friendly against UCD.

why so funny to see one person watching a match.??..Shane resigned, it happens every day in all walks of life... Get on with it , Janesboro have and i imagine shane is getting on with it aswell...The constant referring to D.Bradish in what has happened is both pathetic and incorrect. Derek is a member of janesboros com'ttee, He along with the other 14 people on the com'ttee accepted Shanes resignation. Lets get back to what this forum is about....FOOTBALL...

I'm only new to this page and already im finding its alot more about bickering and jealousy than it is about football.people should stop worrying about every other team and concentrate on who they are playing for or who they support and start talking football rather than about any 1 individual.Best of luck to all teams for coming season

to be fair to the only one leather i have heard the exact same thing on many occasions over the last year or so about braddish.my opinion on it is that o hanlon done alot of good for your club over the last few years, signed alot of quality players and exept for last year had ye back up challenging for honours consistently after afew years in the doldrums under the previous 3 managers.im sure daithi o donoghue is a good clubman in his own right and he has been involved with yer premier team a long time but in fairness how many of the current squad was he responsible for signing? i just think if things start to go wrong then he wont have the support of the players and a very good squad could be lost to the vultures.you can be sure there will be many interested parties.you said in a previous post that o hanlon resigned?the question is why?strange one to resign the week before the season after training hard since early in the summer. best of luck to ye for the season however it goes.hope parting company with yer manager doesnt turn out to be a mistake as i feel if things had stayed as they were ye would defo be challenging for honours.im not so sure now.

wat lunatic in his rite mind wud want to leave one of the best squads in the town(Boro) and go to the likes of granville no matter who the manager is. from watchin a few friendlies so far it seems that the boro have finally got it rite wit there squad of players and the type of football there playin. most players are flyin fit wit the preseason they done. i really think that they could be title contenders this year.

Dont know much about the boro but if they had clarke and barry up front.Thats the best strike force in town. And alan carroll behind them. All they have to worry about then is defending.

Anyway who in the right mind would leave a team going for the league to go to a team who will be fighting to stay in the league? If anything a couple of the granville players will be joining the boro.

it says on www.limericksoccer.ie that Dromore will play all their home games this season in Rathuard on Aisling Annacotty's old pitch (which is the one between Wembley's and Geralidnes pitches).

Hope this helps..........

BrassBalls won't, he's aiming for the top spot. He won the premier league 10 years running on championship manager. There's no manager in Limerick can come close to that mighty record.
