Thats true. But i think thats due to the fact that Wembley have been stuck in 1A for the last few years and the younger players are Premier quality, therefore leaving Wembley to play at the top.

the fact we didnt have decent strikers since jason sheehan didnt help, getting fahy and using the minors this year will help with our promotion hopes

I'd agree with you there. I think Liam Barrett and Jonathon Grant are v.good players. Should be used as often as possible, keeping in mind the minors clash every second week.

totaly agree with the last 2 posts jason sheehan got us 30 goals a season and hasn been replaced..... with fahy signing this year will give us an extra threat up front..... with the possibility of a few minor teams pulling out of the league we could call on the likes of liam barrett, john grant, shane treacy and christy o neill more often...

There's a lot of talk about this Fahy guy lads, anyone contacted Mourinho about him yet. If the talk on this thread is anything to go by he should score about 50 goals easily this season.
Imagine if he played with Summerville, he'd have full international caps and all got by now:D :D

It sounds like 'see's it' is a wembley fella with nothing better to be doing with his time but to stir up crap with his own players. Everything is going well at wembley according to there centre half, Brian Finnigan, who has high hopes of promotion this year. To W.R.F.C., Not to knock Fahy, but i would'nt compare him with Jason Sheehan, who to be fair is a much better player. He scored over 20 goals last year with U.L. Aisling. (correct me if i'm wrong please)

u must have taken me up wrong, jason sheehan was and is a better center forward, and yes every thing is going great at the moment, part from see,s it stirring the water, and i think ur rite also with ur guess that see,s it is a wembly lad but is afraid to admit it. But i have my suspicions

I dont know about that. There arent exactly any stand out teams in the league. From what I have seen it looks a poor league and both of those teams have a chance of promotion.

I was at the caherdavin v balla game at the weekend. Glen woodland looked very quite. Thought Karl Meehan looked a lot better than Glen.

Also Balla had a guy up front. I think his name is Brock. Looked very strong and quick and scored two good goals. Anyone know him?

robert brock.. just out of minors

i think the summerville keeper should make it anyway if it wasnt for him caherdavin might have scored 9 or 10 instead of the 8 they got passed him!!!!

no unrest in the camp one bit... just a few caherdavin people speculating that shane fahy is getting a transfer to caherdavin....... find this hard to believe cause all wembley boys were drinking with him last sunday and he said that he is enjoying his new club........

Looks like u were correct with fahy see's it. Gone from wembly this morning, back to caherdavin. Reason been, found it hard to get place, to much of an effort to fight for place. If he found it hard with us he is going to find it impossible with caherdavin, cause of the four strikers they have. Best of luck to him.( sarcastic remark)

ya when first heard the rumour that he could be going to caherdavin said to a few of the caherdavin boys and they were very surprised about it and that when he previously played with them had a few run ins with karl and corky and a few more........will be difficult for him to get on initially cause karl and glen woodland are playing extremely well and also with corky to return from london soon will also be ahead of fahy for a starting place....not certain if he has signed a transfer form yet but he informed one of our players this morning that he was going back to caherdavin so enough said on the matter......would agree that he doesn get his head up but he is a really good finisher when given the chance and is really quick too which makes him a threat.......

Cant see him signing back with coonagh, he is afraid of pa hall. According to my sourse in coonagh he rang yogi the nite before wembly/coonagh game and asked wether hally was playing, if he was shane wasnt. He mite do the same when we play caherdavin in 3 weeks, cause teres a few who he is after ****ing off

karl meehan is going nowhere lads, not a hope fahy coming back to caherdavin would push meehan out the door, meehan is loved in caherdavin and if it meant meehan would leave if fahy came back, let me tell you all here and now fahy wouldnt be signed by the caherdavin manager cos karl meehan is first name on the teamsheet every week, host of premier league managers after him but happy to stick it out from where he came from after he got hes premier league medal with pike a few years back.

You certainly have a good source Dave. ;) :D

Just heard that he wants to "finish his career at Caherdavin". In fairness while Coonagh could do with him I think hes too much of a disruptive influence. He moaned for practically the whole of last season about injuries when it was all in his head. Will struggle to get on the Caherdavin team. Sure he will be off somewhere else in October probably.

WELL KALYANI, DID YOU GO TRAINING WITH SHANE FAHY AND CAHERDAVIN LAST NIGHT. THE MOVE IS DONE AND DUSTED NOW. I'D LIKE TO SAY YEE SIGNED A GOOD PLAYER, BUT TO BE HONEST, HE'S A MOANIN OVER-RATED PLAYER, WHO'LL CAUSE TROUBLE IN THE CAMP. YOU'LL SOON LEARN THAT ALL HIS SHOTS ARE WITH THE OUTSIDE OF HIS FOOT, AND PRACTICALLY PASS BACKS. HE DOES NOT PASS THE BALL AT ALL, AND RUNS DOWN DEAD ENDS 90% OF THE TIME. GIVE IT TIME AND YOU'LL SEE. I HOPE HE'S HAPPY ON YOUR BENCH, CAUSE HE HAS NO CHANCE OF GETTIN ON AHEAD OF MEEHAN AND/OR WOODLAND. I PREDICT A RETURN TO COONAGH IN THE NEAR FUTURE..........

i know shane fahy very well and hes capabilities but thanks for the advice, i reckon he will get a place on the caherdavin team in a few wks maybe, but it wont be at expense of meehan or woodland, speaking to a few players about it all and they will give him hes chance but if he starts like he did a few years ago, they wont be long voicing there opinions to get him out again.
