saw the 2nd half of the sville match last night , and just like they were when they played mungret last sunday they looked very poor and if not for the likes of their 2 centre halves and 1 or 2 more in their 1st 11 they are a very poor side indeed.all high long balls and no football,hill c deserved the point as they looked well up for it,Sville wide men were avg 2a players if even that ,Think they will need at least 6 players if they are to stay up next year.Tought it was strange that they made no changes when hill c were down to 10 and the wide men were absolute s..t

Well Merryman I heard 1 or 2 of the Summerville players complaining when they took of Mona, saying that it was the wrong decision ? He was the only Summerville guy that wanted to run at them with the ball and was playing pretty descent (my opinion), but the guy on the left ? Might has well stayed on the sideline with the subs. I also think that Wembley are better then Summerville. (Just my opinion lads)

He was the only Summerville guy that wanted to run at them with the ball and was playing pretty descent (my opinion), but the guy on the left ? Might has well stayed on the sideline with the subs. Heard Cappamore might have to pull out as they are finding it impossible to field 11 players. Might give Park a chance of staying up.

Ye are spot on there lads...Mona was terrible out there last night...He should've been taken off at half time..It was his 1st start in a few games and he was working nights all week but thats still no excuse.....

:) What are the chances of summerville and wembly having a play off for the league title, will the LDMC leave the wembly summerville match till last game to see wether wembly can catch summerville and would it be played in jackman..Its happened before in other leagues, just a taught

firstly yer not promoted to talk of league playoff finals, second if ye win yer games in hand wer still 4 points clear and third why would we give up home advantage against ye!!!!!!!!

lads theres alot of spoofers on this site, summerville are crap im hearing since last august, wer top of the league, if we are so bad it doesnt say alot for the other teams in 1a!! we,ve scored the most and conceded the least and have only lost once all season.. stats dont lie!!

well done to all my team mates at summerville on getting promoted.. its great to be back playin premier next season!!!!

IMO I think wembley dont have what it takes to cut it in premier, fair enough they have some top class minors but i cant see them staying around for too long, as proven in the past. the older players are average at best with the exception of barry dillon and one or two more. in fairness though they'll add a bit more quality to the league in comparison to the likes of charleville and star.

i heard a lot of people saying stuff like this when corbally were promoted and look what they have done.......

number 1 we arent even promoted yet........

in my opinion i think we have proven we would be able to cut it in the premier showed it by wins against fairview, castlebar,woodview celtic, baldoyle and only last week against carew park in the lawson...... surely cant always be fluke..........

another, how can anyone say how anyone can do next season before all signings are made and no ones squad has been assessed......

very,very premature to say that summerville and wembley(if we get promoted) wont be able to cut it next season....

did u ever think to realise that players have left after youths in the past because we were not premier..... they might stay if we do get promoted.....

IMO I think if we go up this year we will avoid relegation next season..........

if i am wrong NEW LEAF you would be proved right this time next year( if we go up)

Damien"wobbler" collins(17 for the season) scored 2 and pa sheehan scored( 4 in a row for him)

to be honest they were so short they had no option but to play him there. they had noone else....

was nothing to do with mind games....think anyone who was at the match will have seen two different centre halves and a different gaolkeeper from the game when we beat wembley...i wasn't there but from what i know (30 goal) kelly was playing centre half??

Not for the first time this seasomn Shannon played with a suspended player. They should be docked points. First in Lawson v Newport, now against Wembley.

Y would you play after doing nights all week and being tired and not having played in a while ,surley u must have realised that you were not up to it especially when ye were pushing for 3 points to win the league, doesnt make
sense if this is the case,and also y would a manager pick u knowing this ?could he not have realied on some 1 else out of your squad of 30..Did he start the same 2 terrible wingers against wembley in the cup last night,anybody got the result of this match..

no since it was to dark to take peno's yet it wasnt dark enough to blow the whistle before the end of extra time the match will be back in portland becauce the game didnt finish

A a 6.45 kick off on a Saturday evening????

I cant understand the reason behind a cup game kicking of at 6.450 when you know theres a possibility of the game going to extra time and possibly peno's. (as happened between Dines v Star in the Lawson as well).

All evening cup games should kick off at 6.15 at the very latest, especially on a Saturday evening, when very few players are working late)................

the lad came on when it was 3 nil...... cant see shannon taking the risk of fielding a suspended player when the game was over.............

see's it i disagree with u there......... why should the team adhering to the rules be punished..........

if it was to be replayed teams across town would put on suspended players if they were about to lose a game in the hope of the game being replayed........

dont u think a replay should not take place because of this.........

Wasn't on nights and i started up front..Did a lot more work than i did on the previous thursday night so i was happy with my performanec...Pa sheahan never scored either so i take that as a plus on my side as he scored in the previous 4 games!!! We both had a good ould battle ..looking forward to the reply(if i get picked)

Unfortuantly i was injured for this match and i wasn't there so i cant confirm who played.... i know its not the type of thing the club does to play suspended players ill have to talk to the powers that be to see what excatly the story is....watch this space

I'd come off the bench for 2 games previous to tat one and i did pretty ok and we lost one of our players so he gave me a shot at starting...Working nights is no excuse but it does change the way u play to be honest....Not 100% focused and all that...But i played off nights before and did ok..Comes down to how much sleep u got previous to the game if u ask me...Either way he started me again for the game against wembly and i think i did 100% better than the hill celtic game,...Hill celtic played very well tat night as well and no one bar the back four stood out for us ....Just i got the brunt of it...I can take it though!!!

These are our fixtures i think...3 games in 6 days with saturday night being the big one!!!

Are wembley playing thursday as well does anyone know???

kok would want to get his facts right.there was no illegal player playing in the lawson cup for shannon but at least u got one thing right dave fla was sent off against park,but it was his brother tom who came on against wembley.so hopefully u can get on talking about something where u have all the facts .
