931 at St Pats v Bohs. Poor crowd also at Tallaght, can Dublin support so many Loi teams? It is understandable from a cost point of view, but it is not helping the game of soccer/league to develop, to have so many teams based in the capital.
Three of the top six average attendances in the league are in Dublin, so.... yes. Unless you're actually going to base your assessment off a rainy, freezing Tuesday night during the school year when traffic in Dublin was absolutely crazy.

Grim night in Dublin weather and traffic wise
a couple of hundred Bohs fans , tired team with too many games over the last three weeks.
Shocking crowd.Hopefully Harps can pad out the crowd for the semi to top the 1.000 mark.

Not surprising ,midweek poor weather, bad traffic playing the league also rans, never going to be a great crowd.

Probably more like 500, although it's hard to tell when everyone is packed at the back to avoid the rain.

LTFC Twitter claiming over 2'000 at tonight's game. Four times their average.

722 in Tolka according to Galway FC on Twitter.

Big game for both clubs and they will meet again over 2 legs in play off.
Galway FC havet lost in Dublin this season including beating Premier Division UCD in FAI Cup.

Quite good, you're having a laugh!

Only Cork City can generate consistent crowds even when the weather is bad and there are other attractions on TV.............

The best supported club and the players and staff are a credit to the game.

Hail Cork! The righteous people of the beautiful game...and not a foul committed yet all season..

I'd say being in the title race all season has helped a bit too.

When you consider what was at stake you'd expect a bigger crowd. But the weather was brutal.

Add in a pathetic 10 away fans and I'd consider 3,000 a very good figure.

Any figure given for Richmond today? 2,500 a close enough estimate?

I would say lower Nigel. Thought Pats would have had more out.

What were the attendances either official or estimate for both FAI semi-finals?
Just from TV viewing I'd guess about 1,500 at Richmond and about 2,000 at Tallaght!

Anyone with better figures?

I think 1,852 was given for Richmond which usually means just over 2,000

That's desperate for a cup semi final weekend.

Crowd looked a lot bigger in the ground than when I saw it back on TV. Very disappointing altogether. Great atmosphere from such a small crowd though.

The rep from Salthill Devon has confirmed the thread on their forum has been in four figures all season.

If this thread can't get the amount of "Disappointing" posts to a decent level, it should be expelled from the forum. Or at least moved into a lesser sub-forum.

Surley for cup games attendance would be bang on otherwise Harps would loose money on their share of gate if attendance was under estimated

It's a 300 mile round trip from Derry and the match is being televised.

The Aviva is in Shams back yard. I'd say the answer is no.

Derry will bring around 10,000 again. The FAI cup final versus Shamrock rovers in 2003 did we bring less and that was because it was in Tolka. That time we brought 6,000 as we got the extra tickets that rovers couldn't sell.

The Shels final in '07 when Shels fans didn't turn up we brought 7,000+ and same as the Bohs game in the RDS

edit: Hopefully we might bring more as our last 3 finals have been humdingers and some locals were sorry they didn't go.

Tickets are good value in general but for Derry they are more so £8 is a easy sell for a cup final or £16-17 for Premium level, id expect 6k or so for Pats & 3/4 k in neutrals should be a decent attendance.

Think it was just over 16,000 in 2012 I'd expect similar this time around. Weather obviously affects the amount of neutrals at it.

Was it that many it was all lower tiers with very little behind the goals, We were on one side & Longford fans the other wouldn't have thought the lower tiers in the old Lansdowne held that many.

I had a figure of around 13,000 in my head, wiki says 12,000 so somewhere around that size.
