Around 450 at Finn Park v Wexford, didn't seem to be even one Youths fan.

Possibly 150/200 at Rovers B - Town. Maybe less. 99.99% Longford fans as far as I could tell

Attendance: 961 at United Park according to ET. Looked more than that but it looks official.

1,289 at Richmond. Good Sligo crowd down.

Not a bad crowd at bray considering how bad we're playing at the moment. I'd say about 500 maybe with 20 or so athlone fans who all looked pretty down after the game.

About 280 at Ramblers v Waterford last night

715 at Limerick/Bray tonight.

Not bad for a Thursday night against Bray, surely?

NeverFeltBetter
07/08/2014, 8:38 PM
About what I would have expected. Lots of Junior soccer related stuff tonight I've heard, Limerick radio said Bray had 6 or so at it. Fall in attendances since last year still really bad.

Not bad in the context of this season though?

Got 200 more for the Bray game in Thomond last year. Not a brilliant comparison (a month earlier, not on a Thursday) but slightly indicative. With the better results we might start getting more now. Next home game isn't till the 29th though.

Was better than I thought. Vast majority of junior teams in limerick were training or playing friendlies tonight. I know a few regulars that couldn't make it.

Better than the 200+ when we played there a few weeks ago.

Was a fine crowd all things considered.

Would have probably cleared the thousand had it been tomorrow night.

But as ger helpfully points out 715 is a bigger number than 200

Hence the compliment on your increasing attendances!

Limericks fortunes have turned completly since that Bohs game a month ago. New manager and having beaten Rovers 4-1 the week before the fans obviously expected to beat Bray as well.
Limerick are well safe now so it just shows what a difference a few wins makes to home support.

2,045 at Drogs v Dundalk. A slight increase on the opening day as it was an easy one to remember (2,007) possibly their biggest of the season but Drogs fans will know better.

I know Dlk sold tickets in batches, think it was 700-800 but that away section looked busier than the opening day, and I was at that match.

Extratime says 400 estimated for UCD v Bohs. (The guy who normally gives the attendances to the press is on holidays.) Would have said 600 myself. 400's too low.

Joking aside Nigel, not many clubs will get 9,000 through the gates in two weeks though.

Crowd sounds about right, maybe a bit more. Biggest crowd I've seen this season anyway.

1710 in the showgrounds.

Poor enough crowd in Longford tonight I thought. For a team about to lift the league title, around 400 or so in the ground is pretty poor, most of which came in after kick off. Only around 200 there at kick-off. Mental stuff. Around 30 Harps fans in that.

EDIT: Few pictures I got, teams were waiting to come out of the tunnel when I took these.

1710 in the showgrounds.

I saw on Twitter 710, thought it was a bit low.

I'll give you the Pats v UCD attendance a week in advance. 623.

Believe me it was 1710.
Sure the Treacy Avenue stand holds 1800 alone and was three quarters full with a couple of hundred elsewhere around the ground.
Ive no interest in making such things up to be honest and if it was 710 I would be very very worried.
No atmosphere though but that's what happens when you have left yourself with nothing to play for essentially.

Definitely 710 announced at Sligo v athlone. Don't know the ground so can't say if it was right.

How many were at Shamrock Rovers v Derry? I assume there was a decent kick from the Fenlon factor.

Btw why don't Rovers ever release official figures? They're one of the only PD clubs that don't.

For the first few years in Tallaght, they used to announce every game as a sell-out, even when it was blatantly untrue. I presume that joke just wore thin.

Dunno, they weren't even scanning tickets on Friday.

Rovers don't give official attendances anymore. For the first year in Tallaght they seemed to be including season ticket holders in the figures that they did release - even if the season ticket holder didn't actually attend the game. Maybe 2,500-3,000 were there on Friday. Certainly not more.

Dundalk v Limerick 2,256

Quite a small as expected away support but I possibly would have expected a little more from us, still with 4 remaining home games v Bohs, Derry, Rovers and Cork, good scope to push the figures up a good bit before end of season.

That's an awful turnout considering Pats are third and still have a chance of the title, albeit a very slim chance, and are still looking to guarantee Europe for next season. Is there any specific reason for it? It can't be good for the clubs finances.

UCD at home is always our lowest crowd of the season, being out of the title race and the game being on TV brought down an already small crowd

Nevertheless, that's a superbly poor attendance for Pat's.

Was told 295 in RSC last night for Waterford v Harps.
