725 on extratime for UCD v Pat's tonight, but that has to be nonsense. 1000/1100, I'd have thought. Stand was certainly more than half full.

^ Not nonsense, you should know better being a UCD man, Pats have quantum support, they are there and not there at the same time, but mostly not. The very act of counting them lessens the actual attendance, how else can the oft reported discrepancies be explained.

865 at Wild Atlantic Way derby in Galway tonight, I expected over a thousand on a fine summers evening, but still better than the UCD/Pats crowd I suppose. Harps unlucky not to have won, and hope their injured player is not too badly hurt.

One of the more bizarre posts I've read on here!
Erwin Schrödinger (ex UCD, non?) moonlighted as treasurer for Pats in early fifties and ihe observed that the actual attendance at A Pat's game minus the measured attendance is equal to a value known as Kelleher's number.

Good crowd in on a very breezy evening. Desperately unlucky to concede having held on so long.
Ciaran Coll got out of hospital and travelled back on the team bus. Got a knee into the ribs when the player landed on him and knocked unconscious. They initially thought he swallowed his tongue. Heading for an x-ray tomorrow but should be safe enough. Very lucky chap.
Had to wonder about the section of Galway support who jeered and booed when the stretcher was being urgently called over though.

Our attendances are plummeting but the 700+ that bothered going last night actually got to see a marked improvement and an entertaining enough game in fairness.
If cork were to actually bring 300-400 on Tuesday there is a good chance they will outnumber us.

'Official' attendance was given as 306 at CCS. I was talking to someone in the club & they told me that. Really stretching it there. Friend of mine counted 180 so don't know where 126 were hiding.

Thats some very bad attendances for longford. And these are coming from a club that the fans said last november should be in the premier because of their support, with one decent away crowd and a very good home crowd for the play offs. Now I know we dont be getting decent crowds but its funny how fans can think after one game. Its whats on the pitch thats counts lads.

That's a bit silly considering they'd played two games fewer than everyone else. Win either of their games in hand and they'll be second.

Going into the game they'd played three games less than anyone else. They've still two games in hand.

Where did any Longford fans say that?We are all well aware of how poor our attendances have been.
I remember after the playoff last year a few Bray fans complemented us on our attendance which we were delighted about but no one suggested it was a regular thing.

Things are getting ridiculous if anyone at the club is seriously claiming an attendance of 300 plus. One of the lads counted 76 in the stand as the game kicked off and as always a lot came in after that but no way was there anything close to that there.

2383 at Dundalk and 836 at Limerick v Cork according to journalists at games twitter accounts. Thats not too bad for Athlone, hope they can get a few wins soon.
Glad the UCD v Pats attendance confusion is cleared up by that video, no way 1500 there and official figure looks accurate.

if there was 300 at Limerick it was a lot.
I thought 150 in the home end and about 100 among our end though its obviously more difficult to estimate the crowd in the section you are in.
Even counting players, officials etc I have no idea where the other 500 could have been hiding.

Your havin a laugh.
I had it 150 - 200 over on the Cork side, about 300 on the terrace and id presume the rest of the "crowd" was above my head.
Judging by the terrace id actually called 850 before twas announced, very similar to Dundalk game with a bigger away contingent.
EDIT: Actually if theres any pictures from your side throw em up, id be interested to count see if our crowds were bull

Does anybody know how many we had there last night? It was surely in excess of 100 that was mentioned above. We had an ok crowd at it, but a Tuesday night was never going to draw a huge away crowd. Pity.

I guess about 120-140. There was around 70 or 80 there at kick off but a few arrived right after the kick off. About a bus load anyway so another 50.
If the club were going to make up a figure I would presume they'd have said more than 800.

Not being smart here but crowd looked a lot less than that. Literally about 200 ish on the terrace and maybe 100 in the stand. Plus maybe 100-150 Pats supporters.

I meant the night wasnt depressing because of the result.
I hate Thomond Park and our micro crowd "athmosphere" more than Mel Gibson hates the Joos.
