Nevertheless, that's a superbly poor attendance for Pat's.
Was told 295 in RSC last night for Waterford v Harps.
100% awful crowd, no excuses.
And I expect similar on Monday night

Looks like I was guilty of gross exaggeration with regard to the attendance in Bray last night. Extra Time give it at 180. Sligo fans offfered to abuse Zayed as there wasn 't enough Bray fans to do it.

Lots of really small attendances. Bring back winter football. There, I've said it.

I'd trust you more than I'd trust them tbh. Gave an attendance of something like 350 at one of our recent games when there was over 900.

No attendance given yet for de town game last night but I'd guess around 700 with 50 Galway fans.

I was at Athlone game Friday night. Difficult to estimate as it was my first time in stadium and when you do not have view from opposite side from the stand; but my guess would be 750-800. Likely to be well off.
Excellent facility and very friendly club. Really enjoyed the half-time break in the shop/café and it is a pity that more people from the area do not go to the games there. Irish people are always complaining about lack of places to go to, but I feel many of the venues/amenities we have in the country are under utilised.

I would have estimated 400 max, as you say approx. 50 from Galway. How many seats are in the stand ?

100-odd at Dalymount. Not sure why the stands didn't fill up in the end. Seemed to be some commotion on the field for a while. What was the score?

Good crowd in the Showgrounds.
911 at Richmond to see a very good Limerick performance and Derek Foran provide comedy gold whilst trying to defend

There were quite a few in the main stand as well. Those who prefer a quieter match day experience.
911 was given to us at half time in the press area in Richmond Park, but this was apparently a mistake and an official figure of 711 was then given to us later.

Is that def correct? as I saw a tweet from a journo at the game to say 911 was incorrect and it should have been 711, so is this the 3rd correction? It really doesnt matter much as its still very disappointing figures by the defending champions.

I was saying that there were also Dundalk fans in the main stand. They would need to be added to the estimate figure for the away stand.
The same happens when Sligo visit Oriel, there are always quite a few Sligo fans in the main stand.

That is some amount of travel that the Harps team and supporter have to do in a season. Think a one division league with a split at half way, would be a more suitable structure for Irish soccer.

Since playing Wexford at home, Harps will have travelled almost 2,000km before playing another home game with round trips to Longford, Waterford and Wexford in the space of three weeks. Longford also is our shortest trip of the season at a 360km round trip. We need to get out of this division.
Our last 6 games see us travel to Wexford again, for the third time this season and to Cobh for the second time this season as well as a trip to Galway. Mental amount of travel for us which has taken a large chunk of the budget away from the team.
This season, I've personally been to Dublin twice and Longford, Wexford and Galway once.

Agree, you would expect more at Dundalk for such an important game.Looks like it was some game too. The crowd in Galway even looked less than the 738 figure given. It seems to be the old hardcore Galway Utd support, and it looks like the rest of the soccer family in Galway have not added to the attendance much.

What's the age profile of Dundalk's fans? I'd say you could take a few off for Electric Picnic and it's anything like Dublin, a lot of people will be heading into town rather than going to games. That's no excuse for Rovers' ****-poor attendance though, it mostly kids there this evening.
