Maybe I'm wrong. But I'd say my information isn't to far wrong. From what I got Paul Kennedy only arrived 10 mins into the second half to make 11. All the talk is of Celtic challenging michaels this year. Surely if they can only find 10 players for the first game it's not a good sign. But still they have three points on the board they'l say that's all that counts.

Was at the Celtic game tonight and yea they did have 10 players until 10mins into the 2nd half apparently Paul Kennedy told them he would be 10 mins late which never happened plus they had 3 players on the bench i thought it was a disgrace what they done a team getin to big for their boots i think. Must say it was a very enjoyable game and tbh the Wilderness didnt deserve to lose some horrendous ref decisions went against them especially at 1-1 with 15 mins remaining Celtic were rewarded a penalty that every man in the crowd couldnt believe was giving and endend up with the sending off of Niall Kelly which was beyond belief. Over all a fantastic game to watch and great credit must go the Wilderness for such a gallant effort that deserved so much more.I have to say and i hate doing it at this early part of season but again we have a ref that seemed to want to take center stage a shocking performance from Tommy Keating who isnt up to Premier League standard.

Chops I spoke to a man that was at the game and he said the pen was prob a def pen and he said Kelly's behaviour was a disgrace after being put off. I don't think the ref in question would ever want too take center stage and come on what would he get from taking center stage at that game? Sour grapes it sounds lik to me. Just to clarify the matter yes we did start with ten men because paul kennedy was at a chrisenen and txt to say he was runing late but got held up on the way. He was on the card as the 11 player. The 2 lads on the bench were carrying injuries so we didnt want to chance them.it was a gamble we took and it payed off. As regards squad 4 at a wedding 1 on hols 1 suspended and a few out injured.

However it was poor carry on last night.Agree totally with ya complexman it was a complete lack of respect i heard one of the Wilderness officials confronted both Kenny and Karl about it after the game it could of gave the Wilderness an advantage but they were unhappy with the respect that was shown to them.There appeared to be a small bit of a scuffle on the way out involving a Wilderness player and Tony Acheson aswel not sure what it was over tho.

Before people who come on here with remarks like 'total lack of repect for the oppostition and their subs' could get their facts right and engage their brains before they start typing. The gamble Celtic took was explained to the subs beforehand and I am sure the Wildies (who Celtic have a very good relationship with) understood Celtic's dilemna. A player who was supposed to be a few minutes late, and therefore entered on the match card, ended up been delayed. Celtic had a couple of players who started with injuries, 1 in particular (with a hamstring problem) was not expected to last the 90 minutes. So they took a gamble, started with 10 men rather than running the risk of a tiring Celtic finishing a tough game with 10 players or less. Some Celtic supporters also questioned the management's thinking. However they took a risk and it paid off. Next time maybe it won't but a good manager sometimes has to make tough decisions and take risks. So you can leave all this 'lack of respect' rubbish out.

With all that has been going on at the Bridge and Players trying to Sign and Transfer, you could see a mistake being made, maybe Peake think the 48 Hour rule was broken!!! Even so it sound like Peake will be in a bottom of the table dog fight this season with Bansha, Wilderness and Old Bridge. Heard the Town- Bansha game could have gone either way and that Town were Poor. This could be the poorest Premier League in the TSDL for years!. Take out Celtic and Saints and the rest are average at best.

People would make ya laugh. Lack of respect they say. Celtic made a call based on what the player had told them on when he would be there for the game. They had him on the card as a starter so to sub him would mean using a player nd not bein able to use the player when he eventually came to the game - 2 blows in 1. Wasn't at the game but says enough when hearing wildies rarely threatened in the first half against 10 men. Not sure about this but heard wildies played 1-4-6-0? Is that true crazy stuff altogether.…great that the season is back.

On a lighter note was at the town game. Bansha hit woodwork alright but town still have Scully mcsharry Comerford quinlivan shanahan etc so will be v strong. Dave McGrath came on too…him n shanahan looked good upfront. Barry ryan at 33 maybe lot of miles on the legs and not the player he was few years back. Interesting game next wk.

T Maher was down to Ref the game since Wednesday. He had to be rung by Town when he did not turn up, He thought the game was on 2day !!!.

Lets set the record straight here. Celtic had 2 substitutes, both very young lads who were helping out on the day considering the loss of so many players. Celtic names the strongest team available by naming Paul Kennedy up front. Paul Kennedy was due to be 5 mins late for the start of the game however he got further delayed than he thought something that Celtic weren't to know otherwise he would have been named as a sub. To suggest that Celtic decided just to name 10 players is ludicrous if anything the fact that they were willing to give one of their best players as much time as needed is testament to the fact that they realised that it was going to be a very difficult challenge. Had they known Paul Kennedy was going to be as late as he was they would have without doubt named his as a sub. It was a gamble that didn't pay off. To suggest that they were belittling the challenge of Wilderness is completely wide of the mark. In fact the two clubs have a good relationship. People come on this to throw mud in a lot of cases but it's not always accurate. Having won just 2 trophies I can assure you the club is anything but arrogant. Clonmel Celtic is a lot more receptive to clubs that are not as well off as they are, its not so long ago celtc were in a similar position and they realise that and also how fortunate they have been in recent yrs. Arrogance for the majority of the clubs is not an issue, as with every club there are one or two who may feel different. In this case it had nothin to do with arrogance.​

By the sounds of it Celtic have no morals but saints have done the same thing in their time.nothing to do with clubs but managers decisions.

If Paul Kennedy had arrived when he was due to this would not even be discussed maybe a foot note to say he arrived a couple of mins late. To suggest that some have no morals is just getting a bit carried away. It was genuine misunderstanding not something that was a deliberate ploy.

If they believed that the player was going to be a little late then yes I do, they wanted to name their strongest team possible how this is arrogant I don't know. It backfired when he was delayed far longer than they were led to believe. To say they belittled the wilderness is to suggest that they thought they would beat them with ten men and that is just rubbish. They knew it was going to be a very tricky game and this has been blown out of all proportion.

My god people i think the whole Clonmel Celtic issue is been blown out of proportion. i know its very warm lately but come on i think we are gettin a bit hot under the collar, calm down! Should be interesting to see Richie Ryan back against his old club! I know he is looking forward to it for one, feeling Celtic might take the spoils, they should be even stronger with Richie in goals.
