Yeah, mea culpa, my fault and I'm sorry about it.. was just so frustrated after Friday nights (non) performance

Good performances for the TSDL sides in the FAI Cup today.. 8 games played, 6 TSDL teams progressing.. With Redmondstown taking Nenagh Celtic to extra time, and Nenagh Town only getting past Galbally by the odd goal in five..

Rosegreen's win over Bridge probably being the stand out result on the day.. but Rosegreen are funny like that, they get into good runs and can get a good head of steam going every now and a while (remember they were only beaten by eventual finalists Salthill a few years back, in the last 16 of the FAI)...

6 teams to get out of the area and 3 Premier teams already through to the last series of games before that.. So, without wanting to be disrespectful to lower league teams, I am sure some of the Premier teams (especially Cashel) will be hoping to see their names come out with Vee or Moyglass.. or even a local derby with Rosegreen... interesting draw ahead

just want to say well done to redmondstown, they gave us a right scare yesterday and are a good football side, they put on a serious spread back in the pub for us and were a sound bunch of lads, i think the effort they put in in the first 60 minutes was brilliant and they were the better team either side of half time, unfortunately i think they just ran out of steam in the end, thanks again lads

Tipp town are struggling st the back now meeting better opposition and it looks like tough season ahead but I still think they will get promoted as long ad they keep better players lots of talk around town

add maybe clonmel town and the 3 premier teams form north tipp to that and we could have some big games to get out of the area, any idea when the infamous draw will take place

Not much discussed on here lately. Lets get things up and running again. Anyone have any opinions on the following points

What more has evan maguire got to do to make oscar traynor squad. 8 goals in 2 games

No chalkie in OT squad

Rosegreen in flying form in cup competions, have they got new players in?

Tipp Town Fc with some poor results lately need to get back some form if they want to secure another promotion

Cahir Park walking Division 1

Balls, i wouldnt say cahir have division 1 sown up yet, they squeezed past moyglass yesterday in cup. They are playin glengoole and moyglass again in next 2 league games, if they can get 6 points from them two games then perhaps you could say there lookin good for it but after just 4 games is a little bit premature???

Also, when will tipp cup draw be on, thought it might have been tonight, i say the boys on the radio are def members on here by there comments ha.

next round of tipp cup wont be played for a few weeks id say so no rush with draw. Hopefully get some better games than yesterdays round of games alot of non events. What was said on radio show tonight?

If cahir get the 6 points they will have 18 points on the board and couldnt see anyone catching them. Credit where its due to cahir they are going well this season at youth and junior level.

That is some stat in fairness pony.

My guess is that four or five of the squad named will be unavailable this weekend for match anyway so there is a decent chance evan and a few others will be called upon if they havent been already

I'm guessing St Michaels reaction to that draw is the same as ours i.e. begins with F and sounds like duck!

the six best teams play in the first 3 ties. huge couple of weeks now for saints with celtic in the league next week and pike the week after in Munster champions semi final. Having seen saints a few times this season they are not firing on all cylinders yet but next few weeks will define their season so hopefully they will get it right. Best of luck to all tsdl teams and personally would love to see vee rovers, rosegreen or moyglass progress and get a big day out as its great boost for the smaller clubs to make open draw

thats exactly what we said when we heard!!! very tough draw for both teams... but at least, ye're at home.... we'll see next weekend where we stand against celtic in league.... like someone said, we're not firing on all cylinders but we're still grinding out results....

clonmel town shold be a good test for us to see where we are at, it is a big step up but will be good for our younger lads. we could always see this tie coming, i wonder what kind of reception jimmy and robbie will get, will they even let them in the gate ha ha.. would anyone give us a chance or will town just be too strong.

Town are not the Force they were and it would not be a huge shock if they were beaten.

I think draw was probably fair result but I tell you the referee would have been lynched if Celtic had scored peno a shocking decision to award it but what do we expect from a ref who wants always to b center of attention , yes both teams need to improve definetly saints who are no where near 100%

i have defended this particular ref in the past but in fairness the center of attention comment is spot on, flashing needless cards etc. gave celtic 2 soft penalties and then didnt give them a stonewaller pen. Saints were no where near there best today but will be happy with the point and could have snatched the win in the end when Pa Quinn had a great chance. breeno was a massive loss and higgins injured also. Best player on the pitch i thought was greame doyle very composed on the ball throughout.
