That's an intelligent reply eh!!!!!!
I was talking to a member of Ballyvary and am directly quoting him. I was hoping to find out if anyone else had heard of the issue but it seems that some people are very touchy on certains subjects.

Was'nt there a game last season where Ballyvary could not field a team at home against Mullraney,so its plausible but S&F they are nornaly strong at youths level. Not only in soccer but in the amalgamation of clubs in the GAA could be very prevulent in the future.

There was an article in today's Western o the ML rejection of Celtics astro turf, are they still applying the 95 metres mininum length of pitch or have they come up on another complaint. Does any know has Milebush surface been improved since it was first laid. cause That surface alot of problems like skin burn and cuts ,while newer surfaces like the one we have has better surace with none of them problems.

Why???
Obvious for Westport as they have a Connacht Cup semi final next Sunday. I dont know why there was none Castlebar lads.

Some pathetic bull**** rule about health and safety. HEALTH AND SAFETY?! They have deemed a 3G surface as unsafe but not that joke of a surface they have up ther?!
They are a disgrace. A wart on the arse of football in this county. Some people need to just leave. This shower are more interested in making people's livs (in football) more difficult to satisfy their own pathetic egos, than actually doing their job and DEVELOPING THE GAME OF FOOTBALL IN THIS COUNTY!!
You are a disgrace. I hope you read this too, you shower of absolute cowards. Football will never progress in this county and country with you people involved. And the problem is, it's people and committees like you who run the show in this country.
Despicable

This is the most vindictive decision you could come accross. Maybe its time to fight fire with fire, pull out of their charity shield and the opening rounds of the league. What can they do except draw attention to themselves on this ridiculous decision and just because Celtic spoke out of turn in THEIR AGM or should I call it their back slapping hour. They should sort out their own back yard, the surface of the astro is dreadful and in truth has been from the onset because they did it on the cheap!! and their car park is one of the most dangerous in the town with cars being robbed left right and centre out there.

ya we played lately and 2 cars were robbed
“There was a problem with League 2 and that is the reason why we have put back the start of the league,” McHale said. “I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all the clubs but it was down to circumstances beyond our control that the situation occurred.
How were these circumstances beyond their control. They caused these circumstances. A cheap shot and a gutless chairman. Just let the clubs play football and get on with it. Bloody Bureaucrats.

Any brought this too yhe attention of the ML or the Milebush authorities,is there close circuit camera around the club-house if not they need too install them before more stuf is stolen.
i thought the chairman was just against the boro but this man is just out for himself in every way. milebush losing money because of celtics astro turf - so close it down........he'll be closing down every 5 a side astro now. joke of a man and ive said it before, going to run soccer to the ground in this.
easy answer for all clubs would be to pay no fines accumulated this year until he is removed.

hey why dont you send applications to the other Connacht leagues, chose the one nearest your club, i.e. Charlestown, Urular, Swinford apply to the Sligo/Leitrim league for next season, and other clubs to Galway and more to Roscommon, whichever would have the least amount of travel??? that'd put the wind up 'em

The only chance this would happen is if these leagues go too Summer soccer, what would clubs back in Erris do like Iorrais Aonaithe,Kilmore,Bangor Hibs, then you Have Achill Rovers and Mullraney wher you would have travel an hour too the nearest clubs here in Mayo. If the ML persist about Celtics astroturf can it be apealed to the Connaught FA. Celtic and Bora should set up a petition calling for an extradinary AGM and vote him out of the chair in a vote of no confidance. Is the problem not at a AGM around 3 or 4 years ago the clubs gave the ML the power to do what they wanted and they were warned what could be the consequences but were ignoredd and now they are now suffering from that vote.

Honestly, the only way this will stop is if clubs stand up to this shower of bullies and actually boycott the league. I would be more than happy to see Celtic pull out of fixtures. These people are a disgrace. Football will never progress here with them in charge

No, the dates are just what the mayo league fixtures say at the moment, so they'll all move around once the fixtures diary is released. Disregard the dates.

Looks like Westport C have dropped out of League 1, with Fahy B being promoted in their place. 9 teams in League 2 now. 41 teams this season in total.
All the fixtures have changed since last week. Remember, the fixtures on the Boro site are unofficial so don't go taking them as gospel. They are copied from the mayofootball.ie site so keep an eye on there for official notification.

The ML must start looling at its self after another apeal lost to the Connaught FA,where clubs wins appeal to the Connaught FA the home league should pay for the appeal, does this mean that the decision too give the Mayo total controll at the AGM a couple years ago gone out the window.

Don't worry, they will get it back during the season from an increase in fines ....same as last season.
Also, does this mean Celtic C and Newport Town will be playing at the Rival Arena next season?

Rumour has it Celtic Park will not be registered as Celtic's home ground as the floodlights are too high, the grass is too green and the clubhouse has too many doors. 3 is the limit, having 4 doors is a health and safety risk.
Sort it out Celtic!!!

Official fixtures now up K/K must be gutted ..... relegated by default and not given free slot in division 1, then again its their own fault for not travelling to the Island last year
